The Prime Minister of Armenia made the first statements after the surrender of Nagorno-Karabakh
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made statements on Nagorno-Karabakh, whose authorities announced capitulation.
The statements of the Prime Minister of Armenia are quoted by Russian publications.
In particular, Pashinyan said that:
- Yerevan takes note of Baku’s statement on Nagorno-Karabakh;
- Armenia did not participate in the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh and did not take part in the development of the text of the ceasefire agreement;
- Yerevan does not understand the clauses about the “withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces” from Karabakh, since Armenia has not had an army in Nagorno-Karabakh since August 2021.
