The State Council of Tatarstan adopted in the first reading a bill that proposes to make adjustments to the Constitution of the Republic, a correspondent reports. DOPs with reference to TASS.
The document proposes to rename the position of President of Tatarstan.
78 deputies supported the bill, several people were against it.
Let’s add: last year the President of Russia approved the law on the organization of public authority in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. According to this document, the heads of subjects cannot be called presidents.
