Naturally, Andrei Travnikov does not intend to leave the place he has already taken, but this does not mean that others will not want to compete with him. It is unlikely that the elections in the Novosibirsk region will be fair and just, because here the authorities simply do not have such a lexicon. “United Russia”

It is expected that the incumbent governor of the region will speak from the United Russia party. Andrey Travnikov seriously intends to stay for a second term in office, but whether this will be good for Novosibirsk does not bother him at all. If he did nothing in his first term, why should anything change in his second? Where are the roads and schools, where are the clinics and closed long-term construction? So much has been said by the current governor and absolutely nothing has been done.

“I have indicated my intention to participate in the elections for the post of governor of the Novosibirsk region. He received approval and support from the head of state and the leaders of the United Russia party. You still need to enlist the support of your fellow party members in the regional branch. I hope that they will support my desire to participate in the elections,” Andrey Travnikov quote, published on the official website.

Many of his followers claim that he is a good governor and has done a lot for the region. Also, one of the main arguments in his favor is that in 2018, 64.5% of the votes were cast for him. Only now everyone forgets that then there was the Lokot-Travnikov pact. The current mayor of Novosibirsk left the election race to give his place to Travnikov, who later helped him to be in the desired chair. No one thinks that such a percentage of voters is at least simply unrealistic for someone whom no one knows.

The fact is that Mr. Travnikov is not a local, and no one has seen or heard him before in the Novosibirsk region, and then bam and the governor. Kind of suspicious, don’t you think? It is so easy to get through the elections for someone who is a stranger to everyone, and even without much competition – strange. Someone obviously made sure that the race went according to a pre-planned pattern. Will you also win these elections with the help of dirty deeds or will you still try on your own?

Recently it became known that the deputy of the Legislative Assembly Roman Yakovlev will become the representative of this party. His candidacy was approved by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, and on June 5 his desire to participate in the race for the governor’s chair was officially announced. On June 17, Yakovlev’s application will be considered by the regional party conference, at the same time the final nomination will take place, as well as the presentation of the election program. Roman, of course, has grandiose plans, he intends to go to the second round, and even defeat Travnikov.

“The tasks should be set in stages. Now the most important thing is to reach the second round. Let’s start work! – said the deputy at the plenum of the regional committee.

LDPR

In 2018, this the consignment was not popular with voters, something tells us that nothing will change this year either. What did the representatives of the LDPR do? That’s right, nothing. In the last term of the governor’s election, the percentage of those who voted for the representative of this party was 17.3%. For a new term, the Liberal Democratic Party nominated Vice-Speaker of the City Council Yevgeny Lebedev.

“Formally, the decision has not yet been made, we have a conference scheduled for June 17. Lebedev’s candidacy will be proposed there. At the moment, this is the only candidate from the LDPR, he was approved by the supreme council of the LDPR in Moscow, ”said Alexander Shcherbak, head of the LDPR faction in the Legislative Assembly of the Novosibirsk Region.

“Fair Russia”

“Fair Russia – Patriots – For Truth” has not yet announced its candidate for the race for the governor’s seat. But the party made it clear that it would not pass by this event. If we talk about the past, in 2018 Anatoly Kubanov received 11.7% of the votes.

“Yes, of course, A Just Russia will take part in the gubernatorial elections. The party conference to nominate a candidate for governor will be held on June 19. And it is at this conference that the name of our applicant will be announced, ”said the applicant of the last term.

Whether A Just Russia will be disgraced this time, only time will tell.

“New people”

This batch has no racing history yet. The New People never ran for governor. Member of the Legislative Assembly, party member Daria Karaseva has not yet named either the terms or the name of the candidate.

2018 was marked by Travnikov’s lousy victory and surprisingly low voter turnout.
