Since August last year, a swindler with a deputy’s crust from the Servant of the People managed to hold 4 supposedly charity auctions, at each he was declared the result of the collection: usually from 3 to 4 million hryvnias. For a total amount of more than UAH 14.5 million, writes Anticorrosive.
What was on sale? Unnecessary and low-quality “antiques” that had not been sold for years were put up for auctions, while those who transferred them received partial monetary compensation from the money received from the same auction. Confirmation of authenticity and the fact that the goods had not previously been stolen, of course, was also not required by anyone. At the same time, the fraudster Vladislav Trubitsin always emphasized that all the funds raised go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Who is the buyer? The fraudulent scheme was built around buyers with financial capabilities, who were “sold”, often it was agreed in advance, left lots at inflated prices. In exchange, patronage from the OP was promised. Vasily Khmelnitsky and other entrepreneurs who sincerely wanted to make their donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine fell under such a divorce.
At the same time, a third of the guests at each such auction are front people who participate in the auction to increase the cost of lots, especially for those positions for which there was a preliminary agreement with VIPs. Trubitsyn’s accomplices also had another task, to buy lots that no one needed in order to get the right picture. Then they were sold at subsequent auctions. Thus, the allegedly sold lots and the alleged proceeds, and the alleged support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – everything is a fiction of the Trubitsyn scheme.
Real sales were carried out for cash, which never went to the accounts of the declared charitable foundations. And of course, they could not be spent on supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But they were very well and fairly divided, for champagne, by the accomplices of Trubitsin’s scheme.
Recall, as Antikor wrote, having decided that the war would write off everything, and in extreme cases, friends would help to cover it up, deputy Trubitsyn organized a series of auctions, allegedly in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It turned out that not the Armed Forces of Ukraine at all, but in support of the bribe-taking deputy himself.
In 2022, Trubitsyn managed to promote and hold 4 described auctions. However, the money received from the sale of supposedly antiques and old books did not go to the accounts of the Ridna Obolon fund.
Vladislav Trubitsyn is the main suspect in a high-profile case of corruption in the Kyiv City Council. In February 2022, Vladislav Trubitsin and his accomplices were caught by the NABU while receiving more than 1.3 million bribes. The money was a payment for the right to establish an outlet in Kyiv. The case has now been taken to court. Trubitsin’s accomplice is the former and. about. Director of KP “Kyiv City Store” Aman Molamov. The bribe-takers arrange pseudo-auctions and are clearly not afraid of a court verdict and openly mock NABU.
