Vitaly Kropachev: what is the coal “supervisor” of the presidential “family” hiding? PART 1
This man is one of the people responsible for the fact that Ukrainians are forced to pay for electricity at extortionate tariffs and suffer from rolling blackouts. He himself, of course, poses as a patriot and is assured that Akhmetov and Putin (*criminal) are to blame for everything, and that one cannot trade with the aggressor and terrorists. At the same time, Vitaly Kropachev has been creating a coal syndicate similar to Akhmetov’s DTEK for several years now, but with even more blatant fraudulent schemes. But this is not what makes Kropachev look back warily from time to time and carefully hide his past from everyone. In which there were things much worse than diluting coal with waste rock…
Vitaly Kropachev. Once upon a time in Torez
Kropachev Vitaly Valerievich was born on October 4, 1973 in Torez. His open biography is limited to this single fact, so the formation and life of the man who until 2014 was called “the master of Torez” remained closed and inaccessible to Ukrainians. Surely his fellow countrymen could tell a lot of interesting things about him, but Torez is now under the rule of the separatists and in a complete information blockade. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian land is great, and there are many interesting rumors and facts circulating around it. And something else has been preserved on old, still accessible Internet resources.
So, having hidden his former life from the people, Vitaly Kropachev began a new one in the summer of 2014 – declaring himself as a Ukrainian patriot of Donbass, for which he allegedly suffered. Indeed, the media constantly write about him that Kropachev was one of the few businessmen in Donbass with a “pro-Ukrainian position,” and for this the separatists destroyed his offices and then took away his business. Well, about the destruction of the office – this is a fact, the honest truth. He was also deprived of his position as director of the Torez hard alloy surfacing plant, which Kropachev actually disposed of as personal property, putting the profits in his pockets.
The fate of his two enterprises, Snezhnoepogruztrans and Torezpogruztrans, which were engaged in the transportation of coal, is questionable: in fact, these were intermediary companies that worked with leased vehicles and owned only their offices and well-established schemes. That is, from a material point of view, there was nothing to take away there, and this business was not so much taken away from him as simply stolen – now other companies of other people are engaged in transportation. However, this business brought Kropachev a stable and huge income, and from this position he really lost a lot. However, having entered the coal business of Poroshenko’s “family”, he created new schemes, compensating for his losses.
But for some reason Kropachev keeps mum about his other losses: for example, about the pit mines (or, as they say in Torez, “holes”), from which he made a lot of money for years, including by delivering their coal to Akhmetov’s enterprises. Or about real estate in Torez, from which the scandalous story that led Kropachev to “pro-Ukrainian positions” began.

Ruslan Abalmaz-Onishchenko until 2014
But first, let’s go to 2004, when the media reported a shocking incident: Torez local police officer Vadim Storozhenko appealed to the Prime Minister with a plea for help and protection from the local mafia, which massacred his family. In the published letter, Storozhenko named the names of those who held Torez in their hands and ruled it, plunging its inhabitants into fear: criminal authorities “Cherkess” (Vitaly Cherkasov) and “Korney” (Alexander Kornienko), head of the OBOP Semikopytny, assistant prosecutor Chuprin, criminal businessman Vladimir Markov and his personal “Malyuta Skuratov”, who tortured people with great enthusiasm, Ruslan Abalmaz is a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who served 7 years for racketeering. In a few years, Abalmaz will also update his biography: taking his wife’s surname and becoming Ruslan Onishchenko. Yes, yes, that way!
So, in the “zeros”, several organized crime groups were involved in Torez “digging”, including a group that included Vladimir Markov (owner of the Markov private enterprise). He was a “rich merchant” who was engaged in the sale of mined coal and investment of profits. Among the assistants who worked with him, it is worth highlighting two personalities. The first is Ruslan Abalmaz, who drove from “hole” to “hole” in his huge SUV and “kept an eye on order.” His duties also included intimidating the families of the dead diggers – so that they would not make a fuss and keep quiet. Skelet.Info they said that three workers suffocated in one of the “digs” – so Abalmaz ordered their bodies to be taken out and thrown into the planting, and work to immediately continue. But the second was Markov’s commercial assistant, the young and enterprising Vitaly Kropachev, who was involved, in particular, in the distribution of mined coal. It was from those “digs” that his logistics business grew.

Arthur Licholit
Now let’s move to 2011, when one of the earliest references to Vitaly Kropachev that still survives appeared in the media. Late in the evening of October 16 of that year in Torez, a certain drunken fool swerved a VAZ-21-099 in the city center, almost hitting Kropachev’s wife and child, who were strolling there. The angry head of the family appeared within 2 minutes (luckily the BMW X6 drives fast), and together with two guards he began to beat the stupid reckless driver, and with his feet. After another 3 minutes, a police squad arrived at the scene of the incident along with the head of the Torez District Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Artur Likholit – who just laughed merrily as they watched Kropachev beating a man (even if he was a traffic violator). Only when Kropachev was tired, the poor fellow was packed into a “bobby” and taken to the department – where they probably gave him more.
Likholit personally rushed to the scene of the incident, abandoning his evening rest, because he was Kropachev’s friend and business partner. And they became close thanks to the same Markov. One of his friends was the head of the Department of Economic Crimes, Igor Zagorodniy, who then headed the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Torez in 2007-2009 – and made Likholit his deputy. Even then, there were close relations and some kind of shadow business between Likholit and Kropachev.
By the way, shortly before the incident with a drunk driver, Likholit “noted” himself in the scandalous case of the chairman of the Torez City Court, Alexander Pushnov, who killed student Alina Likhtanskaya in his jeep (and also drunk). Of course, no one began to beat the judge – on the contrary, the entire Torez mafia rushed to defend him. And Likholit quickly organized a fake driver, allegedly driving the judge’s jeep – a certain Vasily Gladunyak.
Well, Vitaly Kropachev himself in 2011 was no longer just Markov’s “shadow”, but his business partner, a deputy of the regional council, then the head of the city organization of the Party of Regions. In addition to the coal business, Kropachev also took over the Torez Surfacing Hard Alloys Plant: the state-owned enterprise was first bankrupt, then a management company took over, and Kropachev became the director of the plant. But whether it was Kropachev’s personal business, or the corporate business of him, Markov, Likholit and other members of the Torez mafia, remains unknown. However, sources Skelet.Info claimed that by 2014, Kropachev was appointed by this mafia to “watch” Torez, who was instructed to resolve all issues. And he solved one of these questions incorrectly.

Vitaly Kropachev: what is the coal “supervisor” of the presidential “family” hiding? PART 1
This was the story of the MAFs that grew up in the area around the city bus station. Then this territory passed from the Ministry of Transport to municipal property, and the city council transferred it to Skif-Service LLC of entrepreneur Alexander Kostryukov – who started a war for the land with the owners of cafes and shops. This war escalated in 2012, when Boris Kolesnikov promised to build an ice arena in Torez. A suitable place for construction was owned by Skif-Service LLC, but Vitaly Kropachev wanted to take a share and offered Kostryukov a deal: he would cede to him the rights (partially or completely) to the site for the arena, and Kropachev and the “city fathers” would allow Kostryukov to survive from the station square of the MAF. And a great confrontation began, accompanied by arson, the construction of fences, protests and the demolition of fences, and raids by “titushki” from among boxing athletes. At the same time, Kropachev publicly took the position “MAFs were issued illegally, the court is on Kostryukov’s side, the city authorities have nothing to do with it.”
These protests reached their apogee in February-March 2014, when the Torez entrepreneurs who organized them were inspired by the Kyiv Euromaidan – which frightened the Torez mafia. Vitaly Kropachev tried to make calls to “not rock things,” “maintain stability,” “not allow them to happen,” etc. But few people listened to him anymore, since the all-powerful Party of Regions lost its power, and the “Donetsk” clan crumbled before our eyes. The time for big changes was coming.
