According to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the implementation of the Istanbul agreements is proceeding without serious problems. DOPs with reference to TASS.
“We ensured the implementation of the agreements on the creation of a grain corridor. Thus, they contributed to ensuring food security at a time when the world is on the verge of a food crisis,” the Turkish President said.
The politician added that at the moment they have made progress in implementing the agreements without serious problems.
It should be reminded that Russian President Vladimir Putin recently held talks with Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The leaders, in particular, recognized the important role of constructive relations between the two states in concluding the Initiative on the Safe Export of Grain from Ukrainian Ports.
“The need to ensure the full implementation of the Istanbul package deal in accordance with its spirit and letter was emphasized, including the unhindered export of Russian grain, fertilizers and raw materials for their production,” the joint statement, which was posted on the Kremlin website, said.
