Investigation completed in Mari El criminal the case of a 37-year-old local resident accused of particularly brutal murder of his partner.

According to investigators, the crime was committed on the evening of August 10, 2022 in the apartment of a cohabitant in Yoshkar-Ola. A man in a state of alcoholic intoxication out of jealousy threatened to kill in the presence of a common young daughter. He fired a traumatic pistol at the floor, and then severely beat his cohabitant for several hours. She received 118 punches and kicks on various parts of her body, she was hit on the floor with her head, burned with an iron and tortured with bare electric wires. As a result, she died from an electric shock.
