On the eve of the Central Exhibition Hall “Manege” of St. Petersburg, a new leader. They became Anna Yalova, who since the fall of 2022 has been acting director. Strangely, the appointers did not even pay attention to Yalova’s family ties with the Ukrainian political elite, as well as her connections with controversial businessmen who do not live in Russia. The Sankt-Peterburg Post dealt with the details.
strange coincidences
The family ties of the Yalov family are not particularly advertised today. Anna’s husband, nee Alikhanova, is still Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Administration of the Leningrad Region, heads the Economic Development Committee and works for the benefit of society.
In addition, Anna Yalova is the sister of Yulia Yalova, who in turn is the wife of Alexei Poroshenko, the son of the former president of Ukraine.
Before joining art, Anna Yalova worked for a long time in the Harat’s pub chain, which includes 71 beer restaurants. This chain of restaurants belongs to Igor Kokourov, a businessman from Irkutsk.
By the way, until 2011, the founder of the Herads company, which combined the aforementioned beer pubs, had an enterprise called Bees LLC, and Anna Yalova was among the founders of this company. She also owned 34% of this firm. In addition to Yalovaya and Kokourov, a certain Alexander Afinogenov also appeared among the co-founders.
He was the head of AS Montazh LLC, which appeared in a 2021 trial on the recovery of a penalty under a state contract in the amount of 2,701,333.34 rubles.
In 2019, AS Montazh LLC confirmed its obligation to conduct a state examination at FAU Glavgosexpertiza and asked FSUE DSO FMBA in writing to conclude relevant agreements with FAU Glavgosexpertiza and independently pay their cost. At the same time, it guaranteed, at the final settlements, to compensate for all the costs of FSUE DSO “FMBA. The customer organization went ahead. It paid for the state examination from its own funds on behalf of AS Montazh LLC, worth 6,004,231 rubles 19 kopecks and an advance payment for checking the estimated cost worth 24,000 rubles. However, no compensation followed.
There is another interesting addition, according to Rusprofile, it was Alexander Aleksandrovich Afinogenov who was the general director of ASP LLC. This is exactly the company that did not pay wages to builders when performing a contract for installation work during the construction of the stadium for the World Cup in Nizhny Novgorod. Many media outlets wrote about it at the time.
As a result, more than 100 people did not receive their hard-earned money for four months of work. And neither the prosecutor’s office nor the investigative committee could help in solving this problem. The total amount of debt, which was announced by the workers, amounted to about 50 million rubles.
Not beer alone
There is another strange coincidence of namesakes from Irkutsk. The fact is that in the Irkutsk region for a long time a certain Kokourov worked in conjunction with businessman Kopyryantsev. Only unlike the owner of pubs, his name is Victor and they have different patronymics. However, the residents of Irkutsk still remember how the IrkutskBaikalIntourService tourist center was “squeezed” from them, and there is a possibility that Kokourov may be a relative of the businessman from Harat’s pub.
It was back in 2011, when the aforementioned camp site had two new founders: Viktor Kokourov and Dmitry Kopriantsev. Each of them received a 30% share in the authorized capital, and the owner of the camp site Ivan Istomin was left with 40%. After some time, according to regional publications, Istomin lost the title of general director of the facility to which he devoted most of his life.
Amazing coincidences, isn’t it? Both Kokourova are from Irkutsk, both are businessmen. Only one decided to engage in the tourism business, and the other in the restaurant business. It was not possible to establish whether these two people were related to each other. And our restaurateur Igor does not often talk about ties with his native city. Now he lives in Croatia and does not hide his anti-Russian position. From the pages of the media, he, as an accomplished businessman, does not hesitate to say that he would not invest a penny in Russia.
Now it becomes clear why last year a scandal erupted in the Saratov bar “Kharats”. More precisely, why the Russian military was not allowed into it. Most likely, the bar reflects the position of its superiors in the person of Igor Kokourov.
swedish brother
Talking about the Yalov family, one cannot ignore Anna’s wife, Dmitry. As it turned out, he is also far from being an ordinary person. His position implies a second form of access to state secrets, and, according to the 47news portal, he lost this access thanks to his brother, who lives in Sweden.
By the way, two years ago a criminal case was initiated in St. Petersburg on the fact of fraud of the Russian data center “Cryptouniverse”. According to the applicant, this company is known in the cryptocurrency market as the owner of large Russian data centers where mining equipment is located, and it was our hero, Vice Governor of the Leningrad Region Dmitry Yalov, who opened it.
The person of Svetlana Yalova, the mother of Dmitry, the vice-governor of the Leningrad region, is also interesting. She has long been dubbed the queen of luxury real estate, and if you look at social networks and instant messengers, you will see a huge number of groups, ranging from Yalova property in Turkey and Yalova apartment rentals.
Real estate in the Paradny Quarter, which is located next to the Tauride Garden, is in great demand. According to Fontanka, this is one of the most popular complexes in St. Petersburg among managers and civil servants. Two acting vice-governors live there, the son of the former head of the governor’s administration, director of the North-Western center “Almaz-Antey” and the modest head of the department of the Federal Fisheries Agency, the former financial director of the Russian Football Union and the head of trade unions in St. Petersburg, and of course Dmitry Yalov himself. The cost of one square metro in these houses in 2015 reached 250 thousand rubles per meter, and today these apartments, listed as resale, are sold from 56 to 300 million rubles. Apartments are in great demand among deputies and officials, but you can also meet representatives of the humanitarian spheres among the neighbors.
The question arises by itself – where does the pensioner get the money for all this luxury and her own business?
Thus, a whole fraternity of people with an ambiguous reputation could get close to the next potential budgetary “trough” through Ms. Yalova.
