The importer of resources from the so-called Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (LDNR) turned out to be the adviser to the president of the International Assembly of Islamic Business, Marat Kabaev, father Alina Kabaeva.
As follows from customs data reviewed by Important Stories, in 2023 Green Rabbit Limited sold 16 thousand tons of wheat and 88 thousand tons of coal, coke and ore – mainly to Turkey and Albania, a total of 1. 2 billion rubles.
Green Rabbit purchased almost 1 billion worth of coal from the LDPR directly – from the companies Ugol Donbassa, Krasnoluchanthracite, MV-Sverdlovskugol – and through the intermediary Syndicate Promo. This company was registered in Moscow by a native of Donetsk, Sergei Sinelnikov. In 2023, Syndicate Promo paid more than 160 million rubles for transport services to the Florence company, Important Stories found out. “Florence” is a logistics company that, as Reuters wrote, supplies coal from annexed territories. Green Rabbit purchased wheat worth more than 220 million rubles from the Agora company. It is registered in the Rostov region, but its suppliers are in Donetsk: the Agrarian Donbass corporation, the grain company Donnaftaservice and others.
Green Rabbit is registered in Hong Kong. The company, according to the local registry, is owned by a person named Muslim Temerkaev; his address is indicated in the register.
Temerkaev is an adviser to Marat Kabaev at the International Assembly of Islamic Business, he is responsible for the coal industry. Also Temerkaev takes position of public commissioner in the field of Islamic finance in Moscow.
The International Assembly of Islamic Business (IAIB) was created by Alina Kabaeva’s father, Marat Kabaev, in 2016 to support entrepreneurs building businesses “based on ethics and morality”. Among the MAIB participants there are “many businessmen from Turkey,” Kabaev said. In 2019 reportedthat MAIB wants to open a bank in Donetsk “to carry out payments in circumvention of sanctions.” Myself Kabaev statedthat its assembly will contribute to the development of the economy and business of the DPR: “We see that the DPR has all the necessary infrastructure for business development, we will provide support in these endeavors.”
Kabaev’s advisor Muslim Temerkaev, in a conversation with Important Stories, first said that he had never heard of the Green Rabbit company. After we sent him an extract from the Hong Kong register with his name, Temerkaev said that the company had been sold and he had nothing to do with it.
The owner of Syndicate Promo, Sergei Sinelnikov, said that he “is not involved in the export of coal” and does not know about the existence of Green Rabbit. Director of the Agora company Sergei Pushkarsky refused to answer questions from Important Stories.

In addition, according to the TV channel, Kabaev has a significant influence on the capital’s construction industry, in particular, he lobbied Marat Khusnullin for the post of vice-mayor of Moscow. Both are connected by work in the construction market of Tatarstan, Dozhd argued.
