The German automaker Audi confirmed the shutdown of its IT systems in Russia
This, as an Audi spokesman told the media, is due to the sanctions imposed by the European Union against the Russian Federation.
“In accordance with the sanctions imposed by the EU, the Volkswagen Group has already shut down a large number of IT systems in Russia. After the sale of the Russian business to a Russian investor in May this year, other IT systems were spun off, with the exception of five, which, in agreement with the responsible Federal Office for economic and export control issues and the Russian buyer will be available for use during the transitional period until the end of this year,” said an Audi spokesman.
