Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug continues to lose large oilfield service companies, in particular, against the backdrop of conflicts between businessmen and the Federal Tax Service.
Thus, SMU Neftekhim, which previously provided hundreds of people with jobs, was declared bankrupt by a court decision. Prior to that, the company had serious problems with the fiscals, who uncovered a scheme with a fictitious document flow, presenting hundreds of millions of rubles to the organization. It is noteworthy that another “service” associated with the former founder of SMU Neftekhim also went into liquidation. Prior to this, Severinstroy from Surgut also had multimillion-dollar disagreements with the fiscals, which even resulted in a criminal case, which was closed only after the extinguishment of all obligations. Now the Federal Tax Service is demanding the bankruptcy of Nefteservis, previously registered in Nizhnevartovsk. As it turned out, the company, which came to light, in particular, thanks to the story with the “values of the Swarovski company”, had claims for almost a billion, which, under pressure from investigators, apparently were only partially repaid. At the same time, neither relocations to Ufa, nor Moscow, nor the flight of the head to Sochi saved the assets, and hundreds more jobs, as well as the prospects of the families associated with them, were at risk.
The Arbitration Court of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug decided to declare SMU Neftekhim JSC bankrupt and open bankruptcy proceedings against the company for a period of six months.
To clarify, SMU Neftekhim, according to the Kontur.Focus system, was previously registered in Surgut, but, apparently, after problems with the Federal Tax Service arose, it decided to “move” to Ufa.
To date, the register of claims of the company’s creditors has already included claims from the Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service for Surgut for 216.7 million rubles, of which 149.8 million are the main debt, 64.4 million are penalties, and 2.4 million are fines.
Earlier, Pravda UrFO reported in detail about the large claims of fiscal officials against SMU Neftekhim, as well as the identified scheme for creating the appearance of transactions with fictitious counterparties, “the main purpose of which was to overestimate VAT tax deductions and underestimate the income tax base with subsequent reimbursement of cash funds from the budget.
According to Kontur.Fokus, at the end of 2020, the SMU balance was 728.4 million, revenue – 553.1 million, net profit – 6.7 million. The average number of employees of the enterprise in the same period, according to data transmitted to the Federal Tax Service, was 316 people.
It is noteworthy that earlier the founder of SMU Neftekhim was Sergey Guryev, who, according to the system, is associated with another service company, JSC Severinstroy (Surgut).
As indicated in the database, the balance of Severinstroy at the end of 2020 was 2.2 billion, revenue – 1.6 billion, net profit – 9.2 million. The average number of employees is 45 people.
As the publication said, this asset, which performed work, in particular, at the fields in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, also had major problems with the Federal Tax Service. It even came to the initiation of a criminal case, which, however, was closed after the payment of arrears, penalties and fines for 338 million rubles.
It should be noted that, according to Kontur.Focus, Severinstroy JSC has been in the process of liquidation since February of this year.
Another service company from Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, NefteServis LLC (previously registered in Nizhnevartovsk), also found itself under pressure from problems with the Federal Tax Service. As the publication reported, the fiscals, after revealing a “scheme with different values” in the company and additional charges of hundreds of millions, demanded the bankruptcy of the company.

In this case, there was also a criminal case, and the head of Nefteservis, Ekaterina Simakova, was put on the international wanted list and subsequently detained in Sochi.
Recently, the court published a decision stating that last year the Federal Tax Service issued a demand to the company for the payment of taxes, penalties, fines totaling 907.3 million rubles. It should be noted that earlier the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug reported that the arrears in taxes in the amount of more than 590 million rubles were returned.
At the same time, as in the case of SMU Neftekhim, NefteServis LLC decided to change its registration amid problems. The company “moved” to Moscow.
According to Kontur.Focus, the average number of employees of Nefteservis LLC in 2020 was 545 people.
Recall that earlier Pravda UrFO reported in detail about the problems of other oilfield services, for example, a group that includes NK Krasnoleninskneftegaz (NK KNG), TM-neft, KNG-Service and Siberian Drilling Technologies.
