Pavel Sheremeta
Today, September 2, after lengthy negotiations and behind-the-scenes agreements, the Verkhovna Rada fired the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Pavel Sheremeta.
At the first vote, only 213 deputies voted “FOR” his dismissal. However, at the last one, 252 already supported resignation.
We remind you that Pavel Sheremeta was outraged by the appointment of Valery Pyatnitsky to the position of his deputy.
Valery Pyatnitsky has been preparing agreements with the WTO for more than 10 years. In his opinion, the agreement with the WTO could have been signed as early as 2002. However, the signing was slowed down by the top officials of Ukraine.

Economist and teacher, founder and first dean of the Kiev-Mohyla Business School (KMBS), president of the Kyiv School of Economics.
Education: economics specialist. In 1995 he received an MBA degree from Emory University Business School (Atlanta, USA), and in 1994 he completed the management program at the International Management Center in Budapest. He is a graduate of management development programs at Harvard Business School, the Blue Ocean Strategy Institute at Insead Business School, China-Europe International Business School, and the J. Welsh Center for Leadership Development at GE.
Dean of the Kiev-Mohyla Business School. (1999-2008)
Vice-President of the Association for Management Development in Central and Eastern Europe (2006 – 2010)
President and Senior Consultant, Blue Ocean Strategy Institute Malaysia (2008-2011).
