The investigation has not yet ended after the recent arrest of the Deputy Minister of Defense Timur Ivanov (he is accused bribe on an especially large scale — 1.2 billion rubles. and the provision of certain material services by contractors), and military counterintelligence officers, even before the first rooster crow (at 5 a.m.) descended on a huge country house near Istra, handcuffing the head of the Main Personnel Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant General Yuri Kuznetsov.

And at the same time - and on the white hands of his wife. At one time she performed official duties in the Committee on Military-Technical Cooperation with Foreign States, the Academy of the Strategic Missile Forces and other structures. The general and his wife were immediately taken for questioning to the Main Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee.

It became known that the military investigator has already applied to the court to select a preventive measure for Kuznetsov in the form of detention in a pre-trial detention center for a period of (for now) 2 months.
