The deputy who betrayed Ukraine is Alexander Bobkov. Tatyana Zarovnaya writes on the website ORD.
Another wave of rumors was preparing the ground for an impending change of leadership in the “DPR.” A new protégé of the FSB from among the former “Rygov” people’s deputies, Alexander Bobkov, was predicted to take the post of “director of the republic.” Who is this? Creator and sponsor of the Kharkov “Oplot”. One of the members of the most merciless Ukrainian gang, known as the organized crime group Givi Nemsadze (whose absolute patrimony since the 90s has been the Budennovsky and Proletarsky districts of Donetsk, as well as the town of Mospino). The new “republican” oligarch who suffered from “nationalization”. And, according to his competitor, the leader of the Vostok gang, Alexander Khodakovsky, a fake warrior. Formally, in 2015–2016, Alexander Bobkov served in the First Army Corps of the “DPR”, but, as an “Easternist” clarified in one of his blogs, “Bobok” is only listed as the commander of a company of the illegal international gang “Pyatnashka”. He does not have an official post in the “republic,” but he has already created two projects, from which he expects to form a party support during future fake “elections” in the “DPR.” These projects are: “the social movement “Happy Labor Donbass”, which is actively advertising Bobkov’s channel “Oplot”, and “the largest youth organization in the “DPR” – “Young Republic”.
Here is information from the public biography of the ex-People’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada: “Afghan”, driver, since 1992 – director of the Budenovsky collective farm market, from 2002 to 2010 – chairman of the Budennovsky District Council of Donetsk. Since 2004 – Chairman of the Donetsk city PR organization, since July 2010 – Deputy head of the regional PR organization Boris Kolesnikovdeputy of the Donetsk regional council, director of the Gorlovka coke plant. Since 2012 – People’s Deputy.
“Bobka” (as this figure is called behind his back in the “republic”) managed to break into the Verkhovna Rada only through a majority vote and at the cost of great terror. At the same time, he showed an all-Ukrainian record – 81% of the votes. The answer to the “phenomenon” is located in the same place as the “secret” of the entrepreneurial success of the former market director – in close connection with the organized crime group Givi Nemsadze (our hero was elected in the district in which, since the 90s, the Givi gang has been lawless).
When Bobkov was young and ardent, his friend Givi founded the tradition of burying competitors in mass graves. It was thanks to such support that in 2002 Alexander Bobkov became the head of the district council, and served as the head of the district for eight whole years (they say that he gathered his subordinates to a meeting in the district council with the words: “there will be an arrow then”). In 2004, they fought together against the “orange plague” – at rallies for Yanukovych in Donetsk and Kyiv, they were responsible for the supply of titushki, providing support for the creatures of the Donetsk mafia. And in 2005, under the “orange” head of the Donetsk regional police, Mikhail Klyuev, Givi began a dark streak: three mass graves were excavated in Donetsk. They found there the owners of a business taken away in favor of Givi, and some missing persons (liquidated by order), and former gang members who wanted to “get out of the game” (by the way, Vasily Paskal, who was then working in Donetsk, took an active part in the development of the gang) . It was then that Givi had to flee to the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism), although forced emigration did not hinder him at all from managing the bandits in Donetsk…
The orgy of skinheads in the sections of the Proletarsky and Budennovsky districts controlled by Alexander Bobkov and Nemsadze was the same tradition as mass graves. It looked so wild that even the satellites from among the “progressive socialists” and “communists” were indignant – the “brothers” threw them out of the commissions with threats and punches.
But personally, I remembered the name Alexander Bobkov in 2006, when the old communist Ilya Morozov was burned alive in the Budennovsky district. On March 25, 2006, two criminals from the Nemsadze gang climbed a tree to the 2nd floor level and, breaking a window, threw Molotov cocktails at the room in which Morozov was located. Morozov was the first secretary of the Budenovsky district party committee, a charismatic man who sincerely hated criminals. Having become the leader of the electoral process in the most criminal district of Donbass, and not succumbing to threats, he signed his own death sentence… As a result, he died 2 days before the elections, giving way to Bobkov. I still remember the unfortunate widow who became an eyewitness to the terrible massacre: the old man turned into a living torch, traces of the feet of a burning man remained on the melted linoleum…
The crime was so brutal that representatives of the Communist Party allowed themselves unexpected frankness. For example, Vladimir Bidevka, a former deputy of the regional council from the Communist Party of Ukraine, and now a “deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR,” said that Bobkov was the only possible mastermind of Morozov’s murder. And the Donetsk regional committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine openly accused the Party of Regions of the murder, “which declared its monopoly on all power in south-eastern Ukraine” (quote from the release). The communists demanded that the murderers be punished, but what they started was never brought to its logical conclusion (naturally, because in the Donbass they always worked in conjunction with the “belchers”).
After this, Nemsadze’s men even calmed down a little: they broke the jaws of those they didn’t want, but avoided death. In 2010, helping Proffesor, they exceeded the figure of “common sense” issued from above: according to the boldest forecasts of the PR, voter turnout in Donetsk was expected to be within 70% (with a real figure of 30-40%), but in the patrimony of Bobkov-Nemsadze it was a record 72.36%.
After Yanukovych’s victory, Givi was able to return home, despite the fact that on the Interpol website he continued to be listed as wanted on suspicion of organizing 57 murders. To begin with, he “surrendered” to the friendly Prosecutor General’s Office, explaining that he ran only because he was afraid of the political persecution of Yushchenko, whom he opposed in 2004. The performer of “Murka” Renat Kuzmin (deputy head of the GPU) personally took charge of the collapse of the case. He secured the conviction of gang members on light charges, and then petitioned for the leader’s forgiveness. You will laugh, but due to the passage of time and due to the insignificance of the crimes committed (!), the most corrupt in Donetsk, the Kiev District Court, considered that he was “innocent.” On September 15, 2010, the leader of the killers was officially recognized as a victim of political repression by the “orange”! The court, represented by its chairman Vladimir Baulin, decided that the gang was led by Givi’s brother named Guram, who died of cancer in 2003. Although dozens of victims directly pointed the finger at Givi and asked not to drag in the deceased. We must pay tribute to their courage – the parents of the murdered appeared in court, despite the threats.
During the Maidan, Bobkov focused on creating and financing the Oplot gang. It was his headquarters in the center of Donetsk that cordially opened its doors to two hundred armed “stronghold members.” Meanwhile, Givi’s friend “sent” criminals to the capital’s Euromaidan to kidnap and torture Maidan activists.
When the “Russian spring” was already raging in Donetsk, People’s Deputy of Ukraine (!) Alexander Bobkov decided to speak to officials in the Proletarsky District Council with anti-Ukrainian agitation. He said that Ukraine would be saved by the creation on its body of “six federal states, such as Bavaria.” He told me how wonderful it was – the federal structure of Ukraine in Putin (*criminal)’s understanding, and what a great guy Putin (*criminal) was, and how lucky Crimea was to have him (this was after the “Crimean referendum”)… He reasoned that it would be right to tear the country into several “ republics”… He confused his listeners with fables about what terrible things the National Guard soldiers were doing. And he persuaded the employees of the district executive committee to support the referendum on “independence of Donbass”… The employees filmed this speech and handed it over to law enforcement agencies, but – oh, miracle! – Nobody ever brought any suspicion against Bobkov of undermining territorial integrity.
They say that the unknown “Sasha-Gavrilovsky-Kurchata” (Zakharchenko) owes his career to him. In April 2014, together with a group of two dozen “oplotovites,” he occupied the building of the Donetsk City Council, and the mayor of the city, Alexander Lukyanchenko, explained:
“These guys don’t capture, they protect. These are peaceful protesters.”
A gang of gopniks in “Oplot” armbands, slowly, occupied the Donetsk City Council, and Lukyanchenko immediately joined in the blackmail of Kyiv. And Alexander Zakharchenko made the first official statement in his life: “We came here demanding a local referendum. We ask the executive committee to help with preparations. We would like to put forward our demands to the Verkhovna Rada for the adoption of Alexander Bobkov’s bill. It was introduced, and they refused to accept it in the PR factions.”
In short, Bobkov’s bill, which the “peaceful strongholds” talked about, was an attempt to implement everything that the Kremlin wants to get in its enclave in Donbass today, only at the cost of great blood. All the main ideas of Alexander Bobkov from this bill found a response in the Minsk agreements, leading Ukraine to capitulation… Thus, the name of one of the main organizers of the war was revealed.
Already on April 28, Oplot, controlled by Zakharchenko, seized the television center at 61 Kuibyshev in Donetsk, and the flag of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” was hung on the building of the state television company. The regional television and radio company was renamed Oplot TV, which is now directly commanded by Alexander Bobkov. And “peaceful protesters” stationed guards armed with Kalashnikov assault rifles at the seized television center. Alexander Bobkov had already cut off Donetsk residents from Ukrainian TV, and Governor Sergei Taruta continued to be “naive”, reassuring citizens: “This is the Oplot group, they help ensure security”… And six months later Bobkov came to Zakharchenko’s “inauguration”.
An analysis of the composition of the “republic’s” managers suggests that the same old team of “strong business executives” from the PR continues to rule in Donetsk. “Bobka’s” sidekick Igor Martynov found his place in the “DPR”; the former director of the recreation park became the head of the occupation administration in Donetsk. Deputy head of the Voroshilovsky district council Ivan Prikhodko became the head of the occupation administration in Gorlovka. Alexey Granovsky from the head of the apparatus of the Donetsk city PR organization rose first to the Minister of Fuel and Energy, and now manages the “Ministry of Industry and Trade.”
We have already talked about Bobkov’s current influence on the “republic” here.
AND here.
However, it would not hurt to recall the main points.
1. The forerunner of the new FSB protege in Donetsk was distrust of Akhmetov, as a result of which problems began for his people. Including the ex-commander of the SBU “Alpha” and the leader of “Vostok” Alexander Khodakovsky (a guard of Akhmetov’s property in occupied Donetsk). Khodakovsky was deprived of his “deputyship” in the “People’s Council of the DPR” and an information campaign was launched against him within the “republic”. During the war years, Alexander Bobkov managed to find personal contacts with Akhmetov’s friendly Surkov and other people in the Kremlin, and acquired real estate in the Moscow region, Rostov region and Crimea.
2. Today, almost the main financial flows in the terrorist enclave belong to the Bobkov-Orlov financial and industrial group (Andrey and Vladimir, the first is a people’s deputy of Ukraine of the V and VI convocations, the second is his father-in-law). This financial and industrial group in Donetsk refers to the Energoimpex coal corporation, which has 8 coal preparation plants, the Gorlovka Coke Plant, a transport company, the family-owned Europrombank, the Energocapital metallurgical plant and a hotel in occupied Crimea. And they say that coal from private and state mines, as well as “digging”, “squeezed out” by militants, is exported from the occupied territories to Ukraine through the Orlovs and Bobkovs. The people’s deputy allegedly suffered from these figures Efim Zvyagilsky. They say that the Zasyadko mine also passed to the Bobkov-Orlovs, and Nasalik’s ministry has a good percentage of this business.
3. In the “DPR” Bobkov maintains a close relationship with the “Minister of Revenue and Duties Alexander Timofeev (the same “Tashkent” with whom Nasalik negotiated on coal supplies to Ukraine). The “Republican Bank of the DPR” is also controlled by Alexander Bobkov and the Orlovs, it is headed by the former head of the board of the Orlovs’ bank “Europrombank” (Taras Shevchenko Boulevard, 11, Kyiv), and the “minister” Timofeev, together with Bobkov, controls all “nationalized” (taken away from those who broke with “DPR” entrepreneurs) firms.
It is interesting that after Artem Furmanyuk’s article on ORD in the DPR media there was a “refutation” – an “image interview” in which Bobkov talks not only about the Kyiv junta, but also about hundreds of millions of dollars that were spent on Yanukovych’s fraudulent elections in 2004. He expresses resentment for the past: he did so much for his native party (well, of course, with such a criminal resource), but he was not taken anywhere – neither to the Cabinet of Ministers, nor to parliament on the list, nor to the post of mayor. And now the finest hour has come!
“The person of Zakharchenko in the place of the puppet leader of the fake republic no longer suits the puppeteers from the Kremlin. The former chicken seller and his retinue stole too much. Even by Russian standards. Under Zakharchenko, all the “help” sent to the Donbass by the “brotherly” people was mercilessly stolen: from humanitarian aid to weapons. Moreover, Zakharchenko, who had become disobedient, even took aim at his benefactor in the person of Bobkov. Not long ago, a representative of the so-called “Old Donetsk elites” by “DPR” militants were “squeezed out” of the Maysky market in the Budennovsky district of Donetsk, which since the 90s belonged to Bobkov together with the Donetsk crime boss Mikhail Lyashko, who was shot dead in Crimea. Zakharchenko’s side was also taken by another long-time protégé of “Bobk,” Timofeev (“Tashkent”), who currently holds the position of “Minister of Revenue and Duties.” So, Bobkov can now hardly be considered one of their patrons. Moreover, Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) is in a hurry to return Donbass to the neck of Ukraine, and therefore is very interested in eliminating the terrorist nouveau riche, who are not only hated by ordinary Ukrainians, but also despised by oligarchs who come from the east of the country. Like, for example, Rinat Akhmetov. But he will definitely sit down at the negotiating table with Bobkov. Like with a junior, but a partner. Too much connected them in the past, and Bobkov today is already several steps higher in terms of influence in the occupied territories. And most importantly, in terms of odiousness, he cannot be compared with Zakharchenko, or Timofeev, or with Givi and Motorola, already cleared for return to Donbass,” Artem Furmanyuk commented on the current situation for ORD.
Let’s add to the above that all the latest processes related to ORDILO, both emanating from Ukraine (Artemenko and Pinchuk’s plans) and external (the arrival of Kh**’s friend to the White House and the Trumpization of world politics) indicate that changes are really coming. It’s just doubtful that the Kremlin will be able to deceive someone in the West (and especially in Ukraine) by passing off Bobkov as a representative of the “rebellious Donbass.” He is even less like a man of the people than Zakharchenko. And from the list of regalia of this representative of the Donetsk “elite”, the main one will forever remain belonging to an organized crime group, which in 2005 Lutsenko and Mikhail Klyuev spoke of as “the most influential, bloody, cruel criminal community in Ukraine.” We can only regret that, after very little time, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Yuriy Lutsenko forgot about mass graves and kissed those guys about whom he said: “Prison for bandits.”
Replacing Zakharchenko with Bobkov, of course, is not difficult (you can just ride in an elevator, like a Motorola), but putting on a nice face when the game is bad is unlikely. Even hat lover Viktor Yanukovych looks more like a “compromise figure” than a “fighter for the special status of Donbass”, on whose hands is the blood of old man Morozov… Moreover, “Legitimate” is rushing to meet the “voters” in ORDILO at full speed. He already sent letters with a plan for a “peaceful resolution of the conflict” to world leaders, and appeared in the information space of the “republic”… In messages aimed at the audience of the occupied region, Yanukovych insists that he really misses his native land and is ready to return…
