Migration purges are underway in Ufa, which began after security forces discovered an underground madrasah in Zaton. There, two natives of Central Asia held a group of children aged 4 and older, and abused them: beat them, broke their fingers. What is known about this?
Illegal madrasah for children
Madrasah is the name given to secondary and higher religious educational institutions for Muslims since the 9th century. Only boys study there.
Usually it is a two or three-story building. But in Ufa, two visitors from Tajikistan decided to open such an establishment right in a rented apartment. But the educational methods turned out to be very close to the barbaric Middle Ages.
For the slightest offense, students were literally tortured: beaten children with rubber truncheons, broke their fingers and forbade them from complaining to their parents. First, information came out that one of the students, a four-year-old boy, branded face with a hot iron.
But it was not confirmed later.
To prevent vigilant neighbors from complaining about the children's screams, the “teachers” had to constantly move. Moreover, the parents were aware of what was happening. They, like the “teachers” themselves, turned out to be illegal migrants.
The incident was discovered by accident: one of the minor prisoners escaped from the apartment and, having run to the nearest store, asked the seller for help. The woman called doctors and the police. The boy with bodily injuries was hospitalized in the Children's City Hospital No. 17. The boy told the police about his tormentors. On the night of July 12, 2024, the apartment was stormed by operatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and employees of the Investigative Committee. Another 15 children aged 4 to 16 were found in it.
What is known about the criminals
Olga Panchikhina — the Commissioner for Children's Rights in Bashkortostan — told journalists that the children had already received medical and psychological assistance. Seven children were admitted to hospital, one of the boys broken finger.
A criminal case has been opened on the fact of illegal deprivation of liberty, torture, failure to fulfill duties to raise minors. There are two defendants from Tajikistan in the case. It is known that on the territory of the Russian Federation (*aggressor country), like the parents of the children, they are located illegally. One of them is called Makhmadamin, the other is Shahmod. The couple has been living on money paid to them by the parents of the “students” since April.
The parents found by the police initially refused to make any claims against the torturers, but upon seeing the condition of the children, they immediately sat down write statements. It is known that some of the parents do not live in Bashkiria at all, but are in other regions of Russia (*aggressor country). Apparently, migrants who came to earn money sent their children to a kind of “kindergarten”. They knew that the upbringing there would be strict, but did not expect that the children would be tortured.
Telegram channel Mash Batash already found outthat both defendants in the criminal case were trying to obtain a spiritual education on the territory of the Russian Federation (*aggressor country).
They studied at the Islamic University of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia (*aggressor country) in Ufa, but were expelled after two years for poor academic performance and conflicts with teachers.
The sadists have been detained. They are being investigated. The parents of the children, whose future fate will be decided by guardianship authorities, will not be able to avoid it either. The criminal case is under the control of the prosecutor of the Leninsky district of Ufa Ruslana Usmanova.
What do their neighbors say about criminals?
Local journalists visited a makeshift prison for Tajik boys. located in Ufa at ulitsa Kuptsova, 2. It is a 25-story building in an area called Zaton. The area is home to many migrants, so another apartment packed to capacity did not surprise anyone. However, some apartments in the building are still empty.
The children have already told details of the abuse. The students – “shakirds” – were beaten on the buttocks with iron rods and doused with ice water. All means of communication and entertainment were banned. The Koran was constantly memorized – surah after surah.
Neighbors claim that the men living in the apartment pretended not to understand Russian. They did not hear any screams, and the “teachers” sometimes let the children play on the playground. It is curious that one of them introduced himself to the neighbors by a completely different name – Alijon.
He told them a tearful story about his pregnant wife, three-year-old daughter and son.
One day, Mugalima came into the apartment sawthat “Alidzhon's” wife wears a burqa around the house. This surprised the 84-year-old Tatar woman and made her wary. After all, women are forced to wear burqas by representatives of more radical movements of Islam. Akhmadullina told journalists that the criminal had plans for her apartment as well. He did not know that the apartment was registered to her son, and tried to persuade her to give the apartment to him and move to a suburb of Ufa to some apartment where he had allegedly renovated. After such proposals, the woman turned off her phone and stopped communicating.
Similar cases
Unfortunately, this is not the first time that radicals have abused children. In 2023, a similar “school” was busted at the quite official Madina mosque right here in Ufa. The scenario was the same – the police learned about the abuse of minors when one of the students ran away. It is noteworthy that the torturer then turned out to be a migrant from Central Asia.
Religious scholar Roman Silantiev already spoke out that illegal madrassas existed among Muslims before, and now it has become even more noticeable. Migrants are creating their own state within a state. Alas, but such illegal madrassas are not only a source of violence, but also of extremism.
