Singer Vitaly Grachev (Vitas) again got into a drunken scandal – he got into a fight in a nightclub in the center of the capital. He has already been involved in criminal and administrative cases. How does the singer live in Moscow?
The Moscow police are deciding whether to open a criminal case against the Ukrainian artist Vitaly Grachev, better known as Vitas. Last weekend, in the company of friends, the singer walked in a karaoke club on Sadovaya-Kudrinskaya Street. After some time, he had a conflict with one visitor, which turned into a fight. According to eyewitnesses, at some point Vitas sprayed pepper gas from a can into the face of his opponent. As a result, the man sought medical help, he was diagnosed with chemical burns of the cornea of the eyes.
“Ren TV”, 10/24/2022, “Vitas’ attack on a Moscow official in a bar caught on video”: According to the interlocutor of REN TV, the victim is a 38-year-old official of the Ministry of Labor Sultan Dzhandigov. After a conflict with the artist, he needed medical help: doctors diagnosed him with a first-degree chemical burn. […] The artist himself has not yet commented on the conflict. — Inset K.ru
The victim, an employee of the federal ministry, has already written a statement against the singer to the police department for the Presnensky district. The man claims that he was sitting at the table next to Vitas. The musician did not like his behavior for some reason, and he demanded that the man leave the club, and after the refusal he used a gas spray. The incident is now under investigation.
In July 2009, a card with the name of Vitas appeared in the archives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in which there is a mark “suspect”. In March 2011, in the Krasnodar Territory, the full namesake of the singer was caught by the local police for drinking beer in public transport.
In 2013, a drunk artist drove his Infinity SUV onto a cyclist on the territory of VDNKh, after which he tried to escape, damaging several parked cars. When trying to detain the musician, he waved a fake pistol, resisted and insulted the police officers.
In the same August, the Ostankino Court of Moscow found the singer guilty of using violence against police officers and sentenced him to a fine of one hundred thousand rubles.
In March 2018, Grachev fired a starting pistol in the courtyard of his house on Rublyovka. The shots rang out for five hours and caused panic among the neighbors. The arriving police officers broke down the door and took the singer to the police department, where an administrative protocol was drawn up against him.
Grachev refused to undergo an examination for the state of alcoholic intoxication. When inspecting his site, 45 cartridge cases, four cartridges and a signal pistol were found. Under article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (petty hooliganism), the Odintsovo city court appointed the artist seven days of arrest.
Vesti.Ru, 03/22/2018, “Shooting in Barvikha: how singer Vitas alarmed the cottage village”: For 45 shots in Barvikha, he will pay a fine of 5 thousand rubles. The Moscow Region police are investigating why Vitas, who has not spoken with a microphone for a long time, decided to speak with a flare gun. In broad daylight, he began to randomly discharge a clip in a prestigious cottage village. After such a concert, I had to go “on tour” to the nearest department when I was drunk. […]
The same 39-year-old that the police are talking about is Vitaly Grachev, commonly known as Vitas. The Florence cottage village is, as they say, an elite place. The price of the simplest townhouse starts here from one and a half million dollars. The public is wealthy. And, according to some reports, this is not the first time that neighbors have complained about the behavior of a famous artist.
Neighbors say: this is not the first case of hooliganism for the side of the star. “This shooting seems to have started since the summer of last year,” confirms one of the local residents. “I can’t say for sure. , yesterday he was right in the morning and fired non-stop. And he was rude, he didn’t care. ” — Inset K.ru
IA “Interfax”, 06/29/2014, “Vitas escaped responsibility for the broken window”: The police refused to open a criminal case against pop singer Vitas (34-year-old citizen of Ukraine Vitaly Grachev), because he broke a window in his friend’s apartment. The singer’s lawyer Sergei Zhorin announced the refusal to initiate a case on his Twitter. […]
On June 6, a law enforcement source told Interfax that Grachev, after a conflict with his acquaintance in Moscow, broke her window in her apartment and left Russia. According to him, there was a conflict between the singer and the woman, after which he returned to her apartment at night and broke the glass in it. Then he flew from Russia to Germany, where he is now, the source said.
The press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow confirmed to Interfax that a resident of the Moscow Strogino district turned to the district police officer with a statement that at three in the morning a citizen she knew broke the glass of her apartment on the ground floor at 14 Isakovsky Street, after which disappeared. — Inset K.ru
In addition to the fact that Grachev is a hooligan and rowdy, he is also a communal defaulter: in May of this year, the Federal Bailiff Service initiated enforcement proceedings against Vitas – the singer owed 100 thousand rubles for heat and electricity. Three more productions have been dragging on since 2019 and 2020.
It’s all about the passport
Interestingly, according to these, as well as earlier, already closed cases, the artist passes as a citizen of Ukraine, although the media write that he also has a Russian passport. It seems that getting into trouble or participating in deals, the artist prefers Ukrainian citizenship.
For example, in 2015 in Russia, a musician, as a Ukrainian, registered an advertising agency with the name “Vitaly Grachev”. The company exists to this day, however, for the entire time of its work, it has never officially brought in more than a million rubles, and last year it completely ended with a loss of 986 thousand. As an individual entrepreneur or self-employed performer is not listed.
In the archives of the Federal Migration Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ukrainian Vitas rented housing in the metropolitan areas (Babushkinsky, Mitino and Northern Tushino), was listed as an employee of the Luch film company.
On the Ukrainian passport of Vitas, housing is issued in the high-rise building “Moscow City” in Shmitovsky passage. On the sixth floor, Grachev has an apartment of 162 square meters. In 2011, he got it under a donation agreement from a certain Irina Sergelis.
Interestingly, the woman was formally the first owner of prestigious squares in the vicinity of Moscow City. She gave the singer housing just three months after the commissioning of the residential complex.
The full namesake Sergelis is known in Russia as a specialist in alternative medicine, a psychic, a master of cosmoenergy, the owner and general director of the already deceased Bose firm “Pervoistochnik”engaged in everything at once: general medical practice, construction of buildings and structures, wholesale trade in food, non-food products, medical and pharmaceutical products.
Sergelis is the surname under which she received Russian citizenship in the late 90s and early 2000s at the consular office of the Russian Foreign Ministry. In 2013, a woman appeared on social networks as Irina Baidake. She wrote about herself in her account that she is a citizen of Latvia, lives in Riga, and previously lived in Vitas’ hometown – Daugavpils.
Adult women seem to be often involved in the artist’s life. For example, the same Infinity FX-45, on which the singer hit the girl and which, according to the media, belonged to Grachev, was in fact registered to a certain Galina Yasakova, born in 1951.
Recently, Vitas has been successfully performing in China, becoming an idol for millions of young Chinese. He starred in three feature films, in an episode of the Russian-Chinese series “The Last Secret of the Master”, fans managed to erect a monument to him, and Grachev himself got a big house in Shanghai.
