Chairman of the State Agency for Forest Resources of Ukraine – Yuriy Bolohovets began his financial journey from the position of director of the State Enterprise “Nizhyn Forestry”, writes Anticorrosive.
After that, things went even better – first he became the head of the Chernihiv Regional Department of Forestry and Hunting, and then the deputy chairman of the GalRU and now he is the chief forester of Ukraine. But this is not the end of Bolohovets’ dreams, he is trying to get into the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and secure a “forest monopoly”. This requires significant investments, which are provided to him by loyal friends.
The director of the State Enterprise “Nezhinskoye Forestry” is his godfather – Andrey Danko, and the deputy director is Vladimir Kostyrko, who organized a successful scheme to enrich their patron – Bolokhovets.
The leadership of the Nezhinskoye Forestry instructs the production manager of the Mrinsky wood processing workshop Andrey Golovko (Tumbartsev) and the forester Yuri Primak to enter false data in the official documentation, thereby underestimating the real cost of products.
The curator of this process is the right hand of the godfather of Bolohovets – Vladimir Kostyrko, who from 2021 to July 2022 himself headed the State Enterprise “Nezhinskoye Forestry”. Since that time, this group (OPG) has been underestimating the cost of lumber (oak blanks) by entering false data into official documentation and subsequently entered into unprofitable contracts with business entities in the domestic market and outside Ukraine. One of the main clients is a company where the ultimate beneficiary is Dmitry Firtash (listed in the NSDC sanctions register dated June 24, 2021).
The forest ranger enters unreliable data on the felling into official documents and delivers it to the processing shop in the village. Mrin oak round timber with underestimated characteristics in class (class D is issued, but in fact class A, B, C), and the head of the processing shop, following Danko’s instructions and Vladimir Kostyrko, who is aware of the criminal scheme, underestimates the standard cost of the costs of producing oak blanks, as well as reduces production costs in order to hide the unprofitability of production.
Thus, having the highest class of product quality and reduced production costs, Andrey Danko, the godfather of Volokhovets, concludes contracts at reduced prices and sells oak blanks of the highest quality class under the guise of low quality products.
Part of the kickbacks (50%), in the form of real value, is transferred to the former director of the State Enterprise “Nizhyn Forestry”, and currently the Chairman of the State Agency for Forest Resources of Ukraine – Yuriy Bolokhovets.
