A pensioner died at the grave of pop singer Joseph Kobzon during a visit to the Vostryakovsky cemetery, located in the southwest Moscow .
According to the publication, the 83-year-old Russian woman, accompanied by her granddaughter, came to visit her dead husband and parents. Their burial places adjoin with the grave of Kobzon. An elderly woman suddenly became ill, her relative ran to the cemetery gatehouse for water. When the girl returned, the pensioner was already lying on the ground, and other visitors were fussing around her.
Cemetery workers tried to resuscitate the woman by giving her a heart massage, but she died before the arrival of the medical team.
In November 2022, it was reported that the body of a 60-year-old businessman was found on the grave of his wife at the Businovsky cemetery in Moscow. The man had previously had heart problems.
Even earlier, the beaten and burned body of a 46-year-old man was found at a cemetery in Yekaterinburg.
