Russian MP reacted to the exclusion from the party for a holiday in Dubai

Deputy of the Vologda Regional Duma Denis Dolzhenko said that he was in Dubai during his official vacation and took the child there on the recommendation of doctors.

So he reacted to the statement of the Secretary of the General Council of the party “United Russia” Andrey Turchak about the intention of political power to deprive the deputy of the party card. Dolzhenko’s statement is quoted by Gazeta.ru.

According to Dolzhenko, he does not have a party card, since he is non-partisan. In addition, he noted that one should not make hasty conclusions and emotional statements regarding his vacation.

“Any decision must be objective and motivated, with the argumentation of violated norms, and not an emotional decision. The next moment: I am a non-party member, I do not have a party card. I am on official leave, I took it in order to take the child to the sea on the recommendations of doctors and show it to specialists, ”he said.

On January 6, Denis Dolzhenko published on VKontakte a photo from a run from the Dubai Marina area. In a comment to the picture, the deputy wrote that he skis mediocrely, and does not consider running in the cold a comfortable activity. “I listened to the recommendations of weather forecasters, warmed up,” he wrote. His post caused outrage among users.
