“New Bombay Palace” is being built near the Motherland
On the first land plot there is a restaurant, on the other – green spaces. It is noteworthy that Green Grove LLC took permission to reconstruct the establishment for only one part. However, construction work is also being carried out on a neighboring site without a permit.
Right in the middle of Kyiv, at the foot of the Motherland, a large pit has been dug – workers report on the reconstruction of the New Bombay Palace restaurant. However, the land plot on which construction work should be officially carried out is much smaller than the fence. Probably, in this way the owners circumvent the law.
This was announced from the city of events by Roman Lytvyn, an activist of the All-Union Public Organization “Stop Corruption”, in a commentary to StopKor.

“We are located on Blvd. Friendship of Peoples, 35 A, where two land plots of communal property are located. Both of them are leased by Zelenaya Roshcha LLC.says the activist.

It is noteworthy that Green Grove LLC took permission to reconstruct the establishment for only one part. However, construction work is carried out on the neighboring site also without a permit.

“Instead of doing it in a legal field, they circumvent the law in this way. Local officials seem to let them.”, Roman Lytvyn commented.
So, under the guise of reconstruction, the owners seize almost half a hectare of land at the foot of the Motherland, circumventing the law.

It is worth noting that Green Grove LLC is a company well-known due to high-profile scandals. Some Ukrainian media distributed information about the possible involvement of UGS LLC “Zelenaya Roshcha” in the case of taking a bribe by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Labor and Transportation Yuriy Grymchak in the amount of $450,000 for assistance in obtaining a permit for construction work in Kyiv.
In turn, the editors of “StopKor” will continue to monitor the situation around LLC “Green Grove” and tearing the foundation pit in the middle of Kyiv and are preparing their own journalistic investigation of the events.
Recall that this is not the first case that occurred in this area. In the center of the capital at the foot of the Motherland was deployed fence on half a hectare, ostensibly for the reconstruction of the Indian restaurant New Bombay Palace. The establishment is small, but the fence is very large and occupies a much larger area than the actual building of the restaurant. The activists suggested that they want to illegally build a new construction site in the part where there are no buildings.
