On December 31, 2021, the Minister of Agrarian Policy Roman Leshchenko signed a memorandum with producers of socially important food products to stabilize prices for natural gas of their own production. In early January, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy released a list of social food producers who would be given domestically produced natural gas for production at a capped 25 percent markup.
