Andrey Tyutyushev, the chief pig breeder of Tomsk, is tightening his connections. This time, Sergey Ilinykh, the former vice-governor of Tomsk, joined the leadership of the agricultural holding. He is a former classmate of Mr. pig breeder.

In the new position, Ilyinykh will be responsible for the issues of “information and personnel policy” of the enterprise.

What are we talking about?

On February 1, 2022, the former vice-governor of Tomsk Sergey Ilyinykh took the position of Sibagro’s top manager for information and personnel policy.

The news quickly spread through the media. True, for some reason, the press service of the holding itself deleted the news message from the company’s website. But it doesn’t matter, we decided to share information about the new Sibagro employee with readers.

So, let’s start with the fact that in December 2021, the then deputy governor of the Tomsk region for domestic policy, Sergei Ilinykh, resigned. By my own will. He has held this post since 2015. But something prompted the official to leave the bread place. If you believe Ilinykh himself, then he had two reasons: subjective and objective. Subjective – “the work required great emotional costs, a constant search for a compromise.” Objective – “on the eve of a new electoral cycle, the domestic political bloc must be completely renewed.”

Let’s assume that’s how it was. But why Sibagro?

I am very impressed by the company’s mission – to feed people with delicious, fresh and affordable food and the focus of Sibagro to be the best in everything.

We can’t say anything about the taste. Everyone has different preferences. Maybe a new employee of the company just likes products with all sorts of flavors, stabilizers and emulsifiers (more in the material Pelmeni from Sibagro: non-GMO, tasteless and odorless), who knows. But perhaps the reason is different.

Longtime ties

We offer to look at the biography of the official and try to understand everything together. Ilinykh was born, like Andrey Tyutyushev, in 1975. Then he entered the Tomsk State University at the Faculty of Economics. There, where Tyutyushev did just that. Obviously, then they became friends.

And in 1995 both decided to start working in a bank. Only Mr. pig breeder chose the Tomsk branch of Gazprombank, which at that time was headed by his uncle Vladimir Gaga. Ilinykh – ASB “Tomsk-Reserve”. In 1997, fellow students graduate. And they go into business. Tyutyushev already has his own company: the financial and industrial group Tesaurum (now JSC Financial and Industrial Group Tesaurum, OGRN 1037000125623). It is headed by Natalia Kurakina, the sister of the billionaire, among the founders are Timur Khismatullin and Ruslan Guryev. Now both are on the board of directors of Sibagro.

Little is known about the Ilyins during this period. Open sources say only vaguely: “From 1997 to 2005, he worked in business structures.” What exactly, no one specifies. It is possible that even then the former classmates began their cooperation.

Perhaps Ilinykh was among those who helped Tyutyushev get the Tomsky pig farm. Read more in the BABR investigation: The owner of “Sibagro”: how to become a modest Tomsk billionaire.

This theory is also confirmed by the fact that in 2005 Ilinykh unexpectedly became the deputy head of the administration of the Asinovsky district for socio-economic development, and then the head of the Asinovsky district. By that time, Tyutyushev already had close ties with the governor of the Tomsk region and the mayor of the city, and in the mentioned area the businessman bought a number of enterprises. Then, in 2006, Ilinykh, already being the deputy head of the Asinovsky district, improved his qualifications at TSU. On retraining of personnel and agribusiness.

An interesting coincidence, isn’t it? Prepared in advance? Maybe. However, at first Ilinykh nevertheless decided to stay in politics. For a while.

There are rumors on the sidelines that, being the deputy governor (he has held the position since 2015), he helped his former classmate and friend Andrei Tyutyushev in every possible way.

Perhaps that is how it was. Otherwise, how else to explain the impunity of the pig breeder for his activities (more details in How to soil the earth and blame everything on the Soviet Union. Instruction “Sibagro”)?

A logical question arises, what made the Ilyins leave a warm seat in the local government? Perhaps he was asked from there. Or maybe he really is tired. But now the diploma has come in handy for its intended purpose and you can safely become a farmer in an agricultural holding. All the more familiar faces all the time. Take the same board of directors.
