New deadlines for old cases

Why the Krasnoyarsk law enforcement officers decided to recall Anatoly Bykov the crimes committed many years ago

The other day in Krasnoyarsk, a court delivered another verdict to former deputy and aluminum tycoon, and now crime boss Anatoly Bykov, sentencing him to 11 years in prison in the case of inciting the murder of businessman Andrei Nikolov (part 4 of article 33, p. “g » part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Since he had already been sentenced to 13 years earlier, he was sentenced to 17 years in a strict regime colony in total.

On the “approach” the third case – contract killing of “criminal authority” Vladimir Filippov, which was committed back in 1998. So, 17 years is far from the final term.

Of course, such a crime as murder has no statute of limitations, but in the case of Bykov the sluggishness of law enforcement agencies looks very strange.

The name of a modest physical education teacher from the provincial town of Nazarovo, who overnight became an aluminum magnate and the king of the underworld of Siberia, for many years suggested horror for the Krasnoyarsk people. Rumor has already attributed all the “revealed” now contract killings to Bykov and his “brotherhood”.

But the authorities were in no hurry to draw conclusions, and only in 2021 Anatoly Bykov recognized guilty of organizing the murders Kirill Voitenko And Alexandra Naumovawhich were committed in 1994. The direct perpetrator of the crime Chuchkov
decided
“recall” that the customer 25 years later, when his term of serving his sentence came to an end. He explained his decision to testify against Bykov by the fact that, while in prison, neither he nor his relatives waited for the promised help, although Anatoly Petrovich had been a very wealthy man all these years …

Approximately according to the same “scheme”, the “memory woke up” for the killer who dealt with the entrepreneur Andrey Nekolov in 2005.

Say, Bykov, supposedly promised he was 50 thousand dollars for the murder, and paid only 10. Here the annoyed performer decided to hand over the “customer”, realizing that he would never get this money. Thus, another episode appeared in Bykov’s case. In addition to the murder of Nekolov, Bykov was charged with ordering an unsuccessful assassination attempt on his former ally Andrey Grabovsky, who was then vice president of the regional boxing federation. But according to this episode, the former “aluminum king” was not judged – due to the prescription of years.

It is worth noting that Grabovsky himself was in 2020 condemned for 13 years as a customer of the murder of the former deputy head of the inter-district criminal investigation Sergei Nazarov, who at the time of his death was already an entrepreneur. This whole series of criminal deaths was associated with the redistribution of the market for the disposal of household waste.

By the way, Andrei Grabovsky, by the time of his detention, had long “retired”, moved to Moscow and quietly trained young boxers in one of the capital’s sections. He “sat down” according to the same scheme as Bykov – the killer, who was silent after the murder of Nazarov for 14 years, suddenly decided to “remember” who was the customer of the crime.

It was with the arrest and conviction of Grabovsky that Anatoly Bykov began a series of troubles, and this, apparently, is not just a coincidence. In 2020, his confrontation with the Krasnoyarsk governor Alexander Uss reached its climax.

Bykov had a difficult relationship with all Krasnoyarsk governors. liberal and reformer Valery Zubov pointedly distanced himself from him, Alexander Lebed during the election campaign he shamelessly used Bykov’s wallet, and after his election he “hid” him behind bars. However, then the “aluminum king” got off relatively easy, received as a result, a suspended sentence for an unsuccessful attempt to order the murder of another crime boss – Vilora Struganova.

Powerful financial cushion of Norilsk Nickel governors Khloponin And Kuznetsova allowed them not to reckon with Bykov, who by that time had lost a significant part of his capital. He could not find a common language with Tolokonsky. Another thing – Alexander Usswith which much has connected him since the nineties.

Some media still believe that Bykov and Uss may be related to the resonant murder of Krasnoyarsk journalist Vadim Alferyev, which was committed in 1995 and is still not disclosed. Vadim was engaged in investigative journalism, while Uss and Bykov became the heroes of his publications more than once. In particular, the reporter wrote about the construction of luxurious cottages in the elite village of Udachny, where, apparently, the luxurious Alexander Uss, who occupied the chair of the vice-governor, was also built. The governor at that time was Valery Zubov, and evil tongues were already saying that the murder Alfereva – this is Bykov’s “gift” to his friend Uss. But almost 30 years have passed, and officially the names of the customers of this crime have not been named …

At the turn of the century, Uss, who was then already the speaker of the Legislative Assembly, and Bykov “shoulder to shoulder” opposed the governor Alexander Lebedwho then seriously “pressed” the local elite and tried to give battle to local criminal authorities, but suddenly died in a mysterious plane crash in the Sayan Mountains …

Of course, after his Alexander Uss became the governor of Krasnoyarsk, Anatoly Bykov hoped that his longtime associate would help him regain his lost positions. But Alexander Viktorovich chose to distance himself from his former friend. The latter, it turns out, took this as a betrayal and unleashed a merciless information war in the region, fortunately, the governor gave plenty of reasons for the harshest criticism.

The answer was not long in coming: everyone in Krasnoyarsk knows about the vast acquaintances in the judicial and law enforcement bodies of professor of criminal law Alexander Uss: almost half of the judges and prosecutors of the region are considered to be his former students. Moreover, he is an adviser to the governor became former head of the regional FSIN Major General Vladimir Shaeshnikov. By a strange coincidence, after his appointment, the memory of the killers serving long prison terms began to wake up and tongues began to untie. Bykov was not up to information wars.

But, judging by the way events began to develop, the process is starting to get out of control. It is unlikely that after his departure from the post of governor, Alexander Uss will be interested in starting new cases against Bykov. After all, he is no longer able to influence the course of their investigation, and the launched flywheel of justice may well turn against him. So, in Krasnoyarsk, they again started talking about the need to install a memorial plaque to the journalist Alferyev, who died in the 90s. And if they have become open up ancient murders of criminal authorities, then to establish the truth in the case of a reporter who gave his life for the truth is a matter of honor for the law enforcement system.
