Mirlan Zhakypov’s daughter’s name is Aliya, she is 22 years old. The girl actively maintains a page on the social network Twitter. In early February, she posted:
“Dreaming is very useful. I dreamed up to the red interior and everything turned out exactly the way I wanted. Thanks to my parents, my life is a fairy tale,” punctuation and spelling reserved by the author.
Together with the publication, the girl added a photo of a Lexus IS 250 car. The cost of this car in the Kyrgyz market varies from $24,000 to $25,000. However, this post was soon deleted and the profile became private.

What is known about the director of the State Enterprise “Kyrgyzkomur”
Mirlan Zhakypov was appointed director of the Kyrgyzkomur state enterprise in September last year. In 2015, Zhakypov already held the position of general director of this state-owned enterprise, but by order of the prime minister dated January 17, 2016, he was temporarily relieved of his post, since a criminal case was initiated against him.
Back in 2016, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, this issue was raised, where the deputy of the SDPK faction Meerbek Miskenbaev stated that people who fell for corruption still continue to work. The deputy explained that a criminal case was initiated against the leadership of Kyrgyzkomur for damages of 35 million soms, but now the general director is at large. Moreover, he continues to work and signs on financial documents.
After this incident, Mirlan Zhakypov’s lawyers filed a lawsuit against the deputy due to the fact that the parliamentarian misleads and discredits the authority of the highest representative body of the republic. And when Zhakypov was reappointed to the post of head last September, a spokeswoman for Kyrgyzkomur explained that “Mirlan Zhakypov’s guilt of corruption was not proven in court, so the criminal case was then closed.”
It is also known that Mirlan Zhakypov in 2020 ran for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh from the Kyrgyzstan party, he was on the list under the 46th number.
Today, the director of “Kyrgykomur” in parallel with the state position is also a co-founder of the coal mining company “Azamat Company” LLC, founded in 2006 and registered in Bishkek. His business partners are Nurlan and Nurdin Motuev. Nurlan Motuev, known in the past as the “coal king” of Kyrgyzstan, Nurdin is running for re-election to parliament in the Sverdlovsk region.
Until 2020, Zhakypov was the director of several other coal mining companies: Bereket Ken LLC and Berekeprom LLC.
Thus, according to osoo.kg, Bereket-Ken paid taxes in the amount of 3.1 million soms in 2020, Berekeprom paid 12.9 million soms for the same period.
