Medvedev compared the NWO with the operation to force Georgia to peace
Russia’s enemies will be defeated, as they were in August 2008.
This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev in his Telegram channel.
The politician compared the two armed conflicts – the ongoing special military operation and the operation to force Georgia to peace in 2008 – and noted that at that time the West was not yet ready to confront Russia.
He recalled that in 2008 the Russian Armed Forces “quickly and severely punished the brazen nationalists” in five days.
However, Medvedev said that Russia now has enough strength to solve the tasks.
As in August 2008, our enemies will be crushed, and Russia will achieve peace on its own terms. Victory will be ours! –
On the night of August 7-8, 2008, the armed forces of Georgia began shelling Tskhinvali, and then tried to take the city by storm. Russian peacekeepers deployed in the suburbs of Tskhinval were among the first to come under fire. Dmitry Medvedev, who served as president of Russia, announced the start of an operation to force Georgia to peace and sent Russian units to the republic.
