Komi authorities spoke about the ex-head of the Ministry of Agriculture who left for the USA

The words of the former head of the Ministry of Agriculture in the Republic of Komi Denis Sharonov about respect for the working man in the United States, where he has now become a truck driver, are connected with the need for political asylum.

This was stated in the press service of the government of the Russian region, a statement from representatives of the authorities leads RIA Novosti.

Prior to this, the RTVI agency found out that Sharonov had left for the United States and got a job as a truck driver. The former minister decided to leave Russia after receiving the summons as part of a partial mobilization. Sharonov claimed that he lost his post as Komi Minister of Agriculture in the course of a protracted conflict with the head of the region, Vladimir Uiba.

In an interview, he also said that the profession of a truck driver is temporary for him. After being legalized in the US, Sharonov is ready to put his knowledge into practice in agriculture.

The press service of the Komi government explained that Sharonov led the regional ministry of agriculture and the consumer market from December 2020 to January 2022. He was relieved of this position, “because he failed to cope with the tasks of developing the industry.”

“Today’s rhetoric of Sharonov is explained by his desire to obtain political asylum in the United States,” the press service of the government of the Russian region summed up.

From open sources on the network it follows that Sharonov studied as an agronomist-technologist at the Orenburg State Agrarian University. From 2008 to 2014, he was the director of Raiffeisen Agro, which was engaged in the construction of a feed mill in the Stavropol Territory. Later he was made deputy general director of the Novoaleksandrovsky Meat Processing Plant.
