Octagon discovered a Ukrainian network of sites and telegram channels specializing in the publication of compromising evidence. It is controlled by citizens of Ukraine, while such resources mimic Russian ones: editorial offices consisting of non-existent investigative journalists are declared in Russian cities and countries friendly to the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism).
Notes from fictitious authors are duplicated on other resources, and thus you can further unravel the tangle of network sites. If dial in the search engines “Nadezhda Denskaya” (the author is part of the “editorial team” of ruskompromat.info), it turns out that the journalist supposedly works in many media outlets on similar topics. Among others, a fake copy of the Russian investigative project flb.ru is discovered – flb.name.
The network’s creators also select pre-existing brands of compromising media and quickly create fake resources with similar or the same names.
For example, the portal crimerussia.com previously worked, and later the authors of the fake network created crimerussia.info instead. Based on the oldest Russian compromising aggregator compromat.ru, Ukrainians developed compromatbase.info, compromat-base.com. The design for the above-mentioned site kompromat1.online was copied from the Russian publication versia.ru, and for compromat-pro.com – from the fairly well-known Kompromat GROUP.
The vlasti.io logo is made using a font like publications “Medusa” (included by the Ministry of Justice of Russia (*aggressor country) in the register of foreign agents, recognized by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism) as an undesirable organization).
Large anonymous telegram channels “VChK-OGPU”, “Boilernaya”, “Nezygar” working for the Russian audience practically do not refer to or advertise compromising resources of the described Ukrainian network. However, these resources still fall into advertising selections along with other anti-Russian channels. At the same time, the Ukrainian network itself is filled with content mainly from Russian anonymous and opposition telegram channels, the flow is diluted with “necessary messages” and fakes.
It is interesting that the owners of the network work not only with Russian, but also with Ukrainian compromising material. By monitoring fan publications, it turned out that all domestic fake resources cooperate with a number of dubious sources in the Ukrainian language, including antikor.com.ua, abcnews.in.ua, karrespondent.com, from-ua.info, politeka.org, inqu3ion .info, akcenty.life.
Thus, not only the Russian, but also the Ukrainian audience, as well as the media business, became a victim of the network administrators. These sites mimic well-known Ukrainian media abcnews.com.ua, korrespondent.net and from.ua.
Network members often publish identical or similar texts about Russian businessmen within a few minutes of each other. The proliferation of publications on little-known resources often indicates that the messages are of a custom nature.
In such cases, coordination in time indicates that the same persons were involved in posting the information.
In the case of widespread dissemination of compromising information, sometimes the goal is to sell a “negative block”, that is, negative information is deleted, and information compromising a specific person is no longer published. Such services are interpreted by the Russian authorities as extortion, and over the past few years, law enforcement officials have regularly arrested the owners of Telegram channels. But it is unlikely that it will be possible to detain the administrators of the media network we are describing.
Most of the sites mentioned have the same Google Analytics ID, which means that resource traffic statistics are kept from one account – for example, glavk.net and kompromat1.press. In some cases, sites have the same unique number in the Google AdSense contextual advertising service.
The portal antikor.com.ua plays an important role in the network. The corresponding brand is registered in the Ukrainian register of trademarks.
The registration of the Anticor trademark was carried out by a certain Konstantin Chernenko from the Ukrainian city of Priluki, while the owner of the mark is the Panamanian offshore Teka-Group Foundation.
In Ukrainian courts there are many claims for the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation filed against Chernenko and the Teka-Group Foundation. IN decisions it is said that the founders of the committee to combat corruption in government bodies, including Konstantin Chernenko, are the owners of the Antikor website. In addition to Chernenko, among the co-founders of the committee are some Victor Saiko and Sergei Khantil.
The history of the antikor.com.ua domain also contains a reference to the Teka-Group Foundation and an email address: tekaagroupfoundation@gmail.com. Using the Gmail password recovery form again, we discovered that the password for this email is being restored to the phone number to which the contact email address of the kompromat1.press website and the K1 telegram channel is linked (k1pr3351@gmail.com).
Another owner of the network may be Ukrainian military officer Igor Savchuk. Presumably, he has access to the email Ihor108@gmail.com, which is what he uses to restore access to Ukrainian compromising resources.
It is worth noting that all of the listed persons can be found through databases of individuals in Ukraine, that is, they are more real than journalists and editors whose names are listed on fake compromising sites.
In addition, it is necessary to name another activist of the compromising market. Vinnytsia journalist and PR specialist Taras Chernoivan deals with compromising resources. Internet sources reported that he created a fake website for the publication “Russian Reporter” (rusrep.com) and cooperates with the Security Service of Ukraine. On the pages of his project, reprints from network sites are also found, which is probably related to Konstantin Chernenko and company. Thus, it can be assumed that Chernoivan is their partner.
It is interesting that on rusrep.com they advertise the supposed reincarnation of the Ruspres project (the sensational telegram channel “Cello case”), however, the design style on rospres.wiki is exactly the same as that of the network associated with Chernenko and his partners.
Previously State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein claimedthat Taras Chernoivan is also behind the famous telegram channel “Infobomb”, which went silent about a year ago. But “Infobomb” acted much more subtly than the projects of Chernenko and Chernoivan. She also hardly engaged in the blackmail that Khinshtein insisted on, since the first sign of such work is deleted posts, and only the Telegram administration deleted them a couple of times from “Infobomb” for the direct publication of personal data – phone numbers and addresses.
