At a meeting with local students, the deputy governor of Omsk, Andrei Shpilenko, got so excited that he threatened to send those who admitted that young people were “brought in” to the meeting with him for re-education, and advised the guy in a T-shirt with the inscription Brooklyn not to embarrass himself and to change his clothes.
ngs55.ru, 12/06/2023, “Change your T-shirt, don’t embarrass yourself”: the deputy governor of the Omsk region forced a student to change clothes because of the Brooklyn inscription”: At a meeting with students of the Siberian Automobile and Highway University, Vice-Governor of the Omsk Region Andrei Shpilenko sent those who were “brought in” to re-education into the army and criticized the young man for an unpatriotic T-shirt. […] To begin with, the official asked why the students were seated in such a way that part of the hall was empty, and received an answer from one that they had been “brought” to the meeting.
– We drove it. I will say this: you are not a herd to be herded. “I would even be embarrassed for someone to drive me,” he said. – Did they bring someone here, guys? Invited? I’m afraid that, young man, they just brought you in. Believe me, I think the armed forces are simply crying for you, so that you learn that they are not pushing you,” said Andrei Shpilenko. Then he decided to test the students’ knowledge, but the young man could not answer the question of what a recycler is. Shpilenko quickly found an explanation for this.
— It’s immediately obvious that it says New York, from New York or what? — the lieutenant governor pointed to a student’s T-shirt with the inscription Brooklyn. – Everyone there is like that, believe me. It’s hard to light them up there. Change your T-shirt, don’t embarrass yourself. New York is either homeless or something, I don’t know. But, judging by the fact that you don’t know anything about New York, wear a good T-shirt. Agreed? Do not embarrass yourself. She won’t go on a date with you (meaning the girl who answered the question correctly. – Ed.). If New York means [громко топает ногой по полу]. A few minutes later, the student was brought another T-shirt, without provocative inscriptions. — Insert K.ru
As Sobesednik found out, before his appointment to Omsk, a native of Ukraine, Shpilenko, managed to acquire a criminal record and appear in party “Motherland”, work for the DPR Development Corporation and lose your license for driving into oncoming traffic in a Lexus. Note, not on a UAZ, as one might expect from a Patriot. True, later the official changed the car, but also not for a Niva, but for an Audi Q8. The image of a patriot is nothing, the thirst for comfort is everything.
And the dress code of the vice-governor turned out to match foreign cars. No cheap T-shirts with Brooklyn print, where, according to Shpilenko, “either homeless people, or whoever, I don’t know.” Only reputable import brands.
There is a Freddy Training T-shirt from Italy and an Armani polo.
There is a whole line of Boss clothing.
There are sports uniforms from Nike and Bauer.
There is a Norwegian Helly Hansen jacket (no match for Ryazan quilted jackets)… American homeless people really never dreamed of this.
ngs55.ru, 12/06/2023, “Armani on polo: what the Omsk deputy governor wears, who charged a student for a Brooklyn T-shirt”: Repeatedly in photographs on his personal page Andrei Shpilenko flaunts himself in a jacket with the meaningful abbreviation HH. This jacket is exactly like a jacket from the Norwegian brand Helly Hansen. […] This exact color is no longer available on the brand’s official website. The remaining ones are more laconic – absolutely red and absolutely black. The description states that the jacket is made of wind-resistant and water-repellent fabric. This piece of clothing costs $320, or almost 30 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate. […]
Against the backdrop of endless fields and a colorful sunset, the vice-governor prefers to be photographed in an Olympic sweatshirt, which is incredibly similar to the product of the French brand Lacoste. […] For a global brand, the price for an Olympic jersey is almost affordable – 17,990 rubles. Slightly exceeds the cost of living in the Omsk region. Well, the vice-governor’s salary allows it. […] With a bright name on the chest in the official’s wardrobe there is a T-shirt with the inscription Marc O’Polo – a German brand with Scandinavian roots. Products from Marc O’Polo are aimed at women and men from 20 to 45 years old. Every year the company produces four collections: “spring-summer”, “summer”, “autumn-winter” and “winter”. — Insert K.ru
And the vice-governor and lover of “Motherland” has not only a rich imported wardrobe, but also a son, Ilya, who also does not wear rags. No, for official meetings the guy poses in formal suits or even in a sweatshirt with the inscription “Young Guard”. But on social networks banned in Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) for extremism, he exposes himself as wearing Adidas.
Or even the more pretentious designer AMIRI from the USA.
And on his ESSENTIALS hoodie, the location of the brand’s headquarters is clearly displayed – Los Angeles, where, unlike Brooklyn, there are many more dollar millionaires. And the mention of which, presumably, no longer bothers the “patriot” official.
Apparently, the authorities believe that ordinary students should wear only Russian clothes and serve under a contract. Imported clothes and holidays in the Emirates are the privilege of the children of the elite.
Andrei Shpilenko told NGS55.RU that although he does not agree with the dissertation council’s decision to deprive him of his academic degree, he will not challenge it.
— Dissernet discovered two fragments of text without a link to the co-author. Initially I wanted to discuss this issue with my supervisor, but, unfortunately, he passed away. I tried to look for scientific works in the archives of the institute to show that the fragments of text referred to by Dissernet were written by a colleague and me together, but, alas, the institute itself was reorganized three times, and I could not find confirmation in the archives. Therefore, I decided not to challenge the application for deprivation of my academic degree, but to begin writing a new scientific work,” he noted.
