Kompromat GROUP has obtained some interesting correspondence Sergei Gordeevthe largest shareholder of JSC PIK with Alexey Karpenko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company (an employee of Gordeev since the days of the Rosbuilding company, where he headed the legal service). The attached letters, dated December 2011 (the time of the scandalous elections to the State Duma, which caused mass unrest), discuss participation in mass protests – Karpenko, in response to a question from Gordeev, who was in Paris, confirms that he took part in the rally on December 10 and writes, “ I hope this is just the beginning.” Gordeev (who was a member of the Federation Council only a year before) replies that he is very happy about the rally and promises not only to be at the next demonstration on December 24 (we recall that on this day in 2011 a rally was held on Academician Sakharov Avenue), but and bring with you at least 100 people from among those who have not yet been to protests.
It is interesting that only a few years later Gordeev will leave aside his democratic hobbies, cling to power again and become his closest business partner and protégé Marat Khusnullina, and JSC PIK, which he controls, thanks to the latter’s support, will receive government contracts for colossal sums. In April 2020, Gordeev (at the suggestion of Khusnullin) even reported personally to Putin (*international criminal) on the situation in the construction industry (naturally, the certificate prepared for the president before the meeting did not contain any information about Gordeev’s participation in protests against Putin (*international criminal) himself). And in August of this year became knownthat PIK actively finances the “Russian Legion” – a volunteer formation taking part in battles in Ukraine on the side of Russia (*aggressor country). How sincere Sergei Gordeev’s new convictions are will become clear quite soon, but his resignation from the post of general director of PIK and his sharp reduction of his stake in the company strongly hint that he is planning another transition across the front line. It is also very interesting what will happen to PIK itself – so far the prospects for a company loaded with debt and experiencing serious liquidity problems are not the most rosy.
