Many kilometers of lines for minibuses, a virtually non-functioning clinic, a “crooked” tender for the construction of a school – no doubt, Markova is overgrown with unresolved problems at a speed close to the speed of light. And not so long ago, another “unpleasant situation” was added to the already voluminous list: a disrupted overhaul of a kindergarten in the village.
History, as they say, is as old as the world. The combined type kindergarten in the village of Markova was built in 1993, since then it has never received a major overhaul or significant equipment upgrade. The situation, unfortunately, is standard for the vast majority of preschool (and not only) institutions in the region.
In 2022, as part of the “Development of Education” program, a major overhaul was finally to take place in it: the replacement of doors, windows, roofing, utilities, and even beautification of the territory. For everything: over 119 million rubles allocated from the regional budget.
According to the terms of the purchase carried out in March this year, the work should have been completed on December 10th. In the yard – just about the New Year’s chiming clock. Repair is not even 50% complete.

But in the future, the situation did not move from a dead point. According to local residents, the problem was clear even in the middle of summer, because from the very beginning of the “repair work” there were almost no builders on the site.
The problem, graphic and repeatedly voiced, was routinely ignored by the Markov administration, headed by Tatyana Makarevichand the administration of the Irkutsk region under the leadership of the mayor Leonida Frolova. Well, according to tradition: in mid-October (one and a half months before the end!) Igor Kobzev personally instructed the administration of the Irkutsk region to control the repair process. In a timely manner. And, as usual, ineffective.
Meanwhile, parents are forced to take their children to kindergartens in Berezovy, Lugovoy and even Irkutsk. And Tatyana Makarevich and her dearest trustee Leonid Frolov are casually silent: there is not a single public comment on the current situation. But enough brains time for Tatyana Sergeevna to continue planning large-scale transformations of the recreational zones of the village of Markov and the creation of a real resort village on its territory.
Markov’s kindergarten is the second major scandal over the social institutions of the village in the last month alone. In December, bidding for the construction of a school in the Beryozov microdistrict failed here.
By the way, the situation is similar to the current one: in the same way, only one company with which a contract was signed entered the auction. Only in the case of the school, the situation quickly became public, and the officials backpedaled: they turned to the prosecutor’s office to terminate the “unfortunate oversight.” And they didn’t have time with the kindergarten – and now they are backing up in full. Then, when they were supposed to cut the ribbon in front of the renovated building.
