In addition to imposing a prison term, the court forbade her to hold civil service positions “related to the exercise of organizational, administrative, administrative, economic and financial powers” ​​for two years. Kharitonenko has headed Evpatoria since 2014, she was also the chairman of the local branch of United Russia and a member of the State Council of the country.
