Vyacheslav Belonenko was an active participant in the Astrakhan organized crime group “Russian Style”, which in turn was one of the divisions of the organized crime group “Russian Club”.
Initially, the Russian style was a sports organization, which was located on the territory of the Astrakhan State Technical University. It also had a Russian style cafe of the same name, where athletes, future members of a criminal gang, gathered.
Vyacheslav Belanenko was one of the organizers of the brigade, which was originally engaged in knocking out money. At the same time, they acted cruelly, like their colleagues in the Russian Club. Even in criminal cases, information was mentioned that they were looking for homeless people, on whom hand-to-hand combat techniques were honed. Thus, Belanenko brought up, as they said, cruelty among the members of the organized criminal group, who, during sparring in the gym, could not fully give free rein to their aggression. And they did it for the homeless.
Representatives of the Russian style could often be seen in the sports hall of the Russian Club. Here Belanenko met with Gaverdovsky, discussing various cases. Everything that the Russian style was busy with, all its actions were negotiated with Goverdovsky.
At what point in time Belanenko attracted the young guy Sergei to the criminal ranks is not known for certain. But already in the 2000s, Sergei began to accompany Vyacheslav everywhere. At that time, Belanenko did not yet know what role this guy would play in his fate. Meanwhile, not without the filing of deputy Ilyin, also a member of the Russian Club, Belanenko becomes the ataman of the Trusovsky district and the chairman of the local society of veterans of state security, police and tax police. Such public activity was more of a cover, and helped to avoid unnecessary questions from law enforcement agencies.
After the assassination of Gaverdovsky, the leader of the Russian Style, Belanenko continued his activities, having several businesses under his control.
He also continued to appear in the Russian Club. Often well drunk, shouting and waving his arms. Once again, having arrived in such a state at the club, he was beaten by the authority of the “Russian Club” Ruslan Abdulin and two other members of his associates, and escorted out of the room. After that, he tried not to bully himself in the company of foremen.
In the spring of 2005, a businessman turned to the chieftain, who was run over by racketeers, demanding huge money from him, which he did not have. He told the chieftain that the bandits were showing off their red coats, clearly making it clear that they belonged to one of the power structures. Because of this, the businessman was afraid to go to the police, and turned to the authority of Belonenko for help. Vyacheslav promised to sort it out. As the media wrote, after conducting my investigation, I found out that the racketeers are really related to the authorities. I even found out that this group of werewolves in uniform was led by a colonel called to fight organized crime, Rinat Salekhov.
But in reality, the ataman had been aware for several years that Salekhov was engaged in such matters, because the Russian Club was actively cooperating with the colonel. Another thing is that there was no place for Vyacheslav in this cooperation.
Be that as it may, Belanenko had some kind of decision on this matter, and he called the businessman and said that he was ready to meet with him and explain to him how to behave.
But the chieftain did not know that the werewolves were seriously developing the businessman, and their conversation was tapped. Thus, Salekhov was informed about the conversation between the authority and the businessman. The command was given to remove Belonenko before meeting with the victim.
When Vyacheslav was walking down the street, a car slowed down next to him, from which automatic bursts were heard. Belonenko was hit by bullets, and the killers, believing that he had no chance of surviving, left.
Meanwhile, the authority has not died. He was taken to the hospital and operated on. And the ward was taken under guard by members of the Department for Organized Crime Control, subordinates of Salekhov. After the operation, when Belanenko came to his senses, the investigator wanted to interrogate him, but the patient was very weak, and the doctor forbade him, saying to wait a few more days.
Salekhov understands that if the authority begins to speak, it will reveal his criminal activities. Therefore, through his deputies, he removes the guards from the ward, and through the leader of the Russian Club he sends two killers to the hospital, one of which was the same Sergei, whom Belanenko himself once brought to the group. Interestingly, the scheme of the second floor of the hospital, on which the ataman’s chamber was located, was drawn by the colonel himself, in his working notebook. Then he tore out the page with the diagram, where he marked the desired ward with a cross, and handed it over to his subordinate Yuri Krasheninnikov, who, in turn, gave the drawing to the performer. And he will put this sheet in his glove compartment of the car. In the future, this piece of paper will be found by operatives.
In the meantime, on June 17, 2005, the killers quietly entered the hospital, entered the ward and shot Vyacheslav Belanenko. To top it off, they stuck a knife in his temple so that it would be easier for Salekhov to send the case on a false Chechen trail, as he practiced when he had to divert members of the organized crime groups under his control from suspicion, directing the investigation towards the Chechen brigade, which was not under his control.
A neighbor in the ward, a resident of Kazakhstan, Andrey Nugmanov, was shot dead as a dangerous witness. The security guard Belanenko from the Cossacks was also wounded, who did not follow the example of the security forces and did not leave his post. He received prompt medical attention and survived.
