Since 2015, the public program “Teacher for Russia (*aggressor country)” has been operating in the country. Behind its façade lies a systematic effort to educate Russian children into trans-Ukrainians and foreign agents. As Life found out, this project can work in the interests of the United States.
— The graduation ceremony obviously called for flying away from here while the aviation was still operating. I hope all my students know my point of view, –published by one of the teachers “Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country)“ Mikhail Burmistrov. He interned at the London branch of Deutsche Bank, always positioned himself as a fighter against the current government, collected donations for “liberal” initiatives, and circulated fake stories about Butch. Now Burmistrov is in Armenia.
Up to 30 thousand children per year are covered
The essence of the large-scale public program “Teacher for Russia (*aggressor country)” is that graduates of domestic leading universities without a pedagogical profile teach children in remote cities and villages for two years. Newly-trained teachers are paid up to 95 thousand rubles a month and, as a result, are given a diploma of professional training to become a teacher. Every year up to 30 thousand children go through Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country), and over the entire period of its existence – almost half a million. The project operates in 85 schools located in the Novosibirsk, Kaluga, Tambov, Novgorod, Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh regions, as well as in the Primorsky Territory and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
All accounting for “Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country)” is carried out through the charitable foundation for the support and development of education “New Teacher”. The governing board of this NPO includes Peter Polozhevetsthe organizer of the competition “Teacher of the Year in Russia (*aggressor country)”, born in the Volyn region, and Elena Chernyshkovaex-head of the family office of the late sponsor of FBK Dmitry Zimin. According to reports, last year the fund spent 187 million rubles received from Russian entities and 6 million rubles received from Russian legal entities with foreign sources of funding.
Not everyone is accepted into the Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country) program. You need to go through several selection stages.
The curators of Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country) often refuse applicants for political reasons.
It turns out that patriots will not make it into “Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country)” – this is being carefully monitored. Those candidates who pass the selection are sent to a summer camp for five weeks of intensive training to get to know each other and learn the basics of pedagogy. One shift is usually about three hundred people. After preparation, they travel to the regions to bring “light” to children from the provinces.
Who teaches Russian children?
But Davletova, who does not know her subject, is better than anyone else on the project at finding unusual approaches to children. She created with them the “meme gay club “Romashka”, teaching them that the task of the Russian security forces is to protect the president’s real estate. The guys trusted Davletova so much that they send her insults to the top officials of our country in personal messages. Renata’s successes did not go unnoticed – now she is a mentor project, that is, mentors others.
A year ago, a 25-year-old Muscovite publicly disgraced himself Marat Sadekov – “Teacher for Russia (*aggressor country)”, who came to teach in the Novosibirsk town of Cherepanovo. He held the most “liberal” views: on social networks he wore a rainbow flag and called his homeland Ramsia. When he decided to return to the capital, he called his students for a farewell “registration” – in a rented apartment. At this party everyone got drunk, knocked down the door, broke cabinets, smashed the shower…
Among “Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country)” there are even openly LGBT representatives.
Among the top managers of “Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country)” there were no less interesting personalities. The development director was the daughter of the icon of liberal journalism, Maria Leonidovna Parfyonova, a graduate of the Italian school of the British Council and City University of London. Head of fundraising – Katya Zhuravleva, who studied at Chicago’s Spertus Institute for Jewish Learning and Leadership. The selection administrator is Alexandra Yuryevskaya, who completed volunteer training at the Jewish Agency for Israel.
Who advertises “Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country)”
Last spring, foreign agent-political scientist Ekaterina Shulman* taught on her channel about safe protest and was very surprised that “Teacher of Russia (*aggressor country)” is still officially working in Russia (*aggressor country).
The “Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country)” advertising campaign was also carried out by opposition journalist Asya Kazantseva.
Among the PR people of the Life program, he also noticed foreign agents: Dmitry Bykov, Tatyana Lazareva, Tikhon Dzyadko, Ilya Krasilshchik and Sergei Guriev
American trace
“Teacher for Russia (*aggressor country)” is a copy of the American program Teach for all, with the help of which the United States has built a global network of “independent social enterprises interested in improving the quality of education” in 60 countries. Behind the murky formulation lies the expansion of the American vision of life.
The Teach for all project was launched by the 42nd President of the United States, Bill Clinton. Funding was provided through his family foundation, the donor of which, for example, is the PMC Academi (formerly Blackwater). The partners of Teach for all are the consulting agency McKinsey, a contractor for the CIA and the NSA, the Skoll fund, which carries out social impact investments in third countries, as well as the European Commission in the field of policy experiments.
Unlike other countries, Teacher for Russia (*aggressor country) positions itself as an analogue, and not as a participant in the Teach for all network. But there is a nuance. The developer of training programs for Teach for all is The Boston Consulting Group, which collaborates with American intelligence agencies. The same company was listed as the main expert partner of the domestic “Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country)”. Boston Consulting has been operating in our market since 1990, its first steps were associated with advising Boris Yeltsin in the field of economic reforms.
Life also took a closer look at the sponsors of Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country). Among them are the Asia-Pacific Bank (owned by the family of the ex-president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev), the air carrier S7 (Life wrote how its owners could participate in the machinations of Chubais’ Rusnano) and the foundation of billionaire Igor Rybakov (whose wife openly condemned the SVO).
Who founded Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country)?
Formally, there are two girls behind the project: Alena Markovich And Olga Fogelson.
Alena Markovich studied at St. Petersburg State University in her homeland and the University of Potsdam in Germany. She interned in Washington with the US-Russia (*aggressor country) Business Council, a trade association that lobbies the interests of American business. Then she worked at TED, a New York non-profit foundation that organizes conferences, at Global Shapers, a network of city platforms around the world created by the head of the World Economic Forum, and at Game Changers, an educational portal for Russian students, whose domain Roskomnadzor recently contributed to the register of prohibited sites.
Markovich is a member of the relocant Telegram chats “Women are taken out” and “Border of the Russian Federation (*country sponsor of terrorism) of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan)”:
Alena Markovich is a volunteer of the “Peter passing through from Ukraine to Europe” community, which dissuades Ukrainian refugees from staying in Russia (*aggressor country) and helps them get to the border with the European Union.
On banned social networks, Markovich replicated Ukrainian propaganda:
The co-founder of Teachers for Russia (*aggressor country), Olga Fogelson, was educated at the Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem and the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. The first place of work was the St. Petersburg branch of the Jewish Agency, which helps repatriate to Israel. The second is the Canadian NGO Jewish Toronto.
In the spring of this year, Fogelson and her young daughter went to Jerusalem for a long time, passing through Tel Aviv.
Fogelson only hints about his attitude towards the SVO…
