Yamal officials are looking for tenants for worn-out gas pipelines for 16 million
Municipalities of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug put up gas supply networks for auction. The authorities intend to receive more than 16 million rubles for communications.
In the Tazovsky district, three gas supply facilities were put up for auction. The monthly payment for medium and low pressure gas pipelines with a length of 14.9 km will be at least 105.1 thousand rubles. Thus, the minimum price of the lot, taking into account the five-year lease period, is set at 6.3 million rubles.
The lot description states that the networks were built in 2004. Physical wear and tear is 40%, functional obsolescence is 53%, general wear is 71.8%, and is in serviceable condition.
The Tazovsky administration plans to hand over 14 gas supply networks with slight physical wear and tear that are considered suitable for use for 2.8 million rubles with a monthly payment of 47.1 thousand rubles.
The 16.3 km long gas supply system for the Tazovsky village, built in 2004, was put up for 6.9 million rubles.
“The 2nd stage gas pipeline starts from the AGDS, passing through the entire village and ends on Geologists Street, turning into a high-pressure gas pipeline,” the documentation specifies.
For a five-year lease, the minimum monthly payment is 115.3 thousand rubles. Physical wear and tear is estimated at 40%, functional obsolescence – 53%, general wear and tear – 71.8%. However, the owners believe that the engineering infrastructure can be used for its intended purpose.
In addition, the administration of the Nadym region announced auctions for 18 low-pressure gas pipelines. The authorities plan to give the facilities for free use for five years. However, the cost of the right to conclude a lease agreement will be about 1.3 thousand rubles. In general, for networks with a total length of 3.2 km in Nadym, the municipality will be able to receive a little more than 23 thousand rubles.
It should be noted that earlier issues of gas supply in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug were raised during the visit of Energy Minister Alexander Novak to the region.
“We discussed gasification issues in great detail, connecting households to gas. Here Yamal is the leader in our country. We discussed in great detail the projects that are being implemented for the 50th anniversary of Novy Urengoy. In general, I would like to note that the region is actively developing, and we once again emphasize the potential that exists here today, which will be realized in the near future both by the governor’s team and by all residents of Yamal,” said the federal minister.
The press service of the Yamal government added that the program for additional gasification in the autonomous region in 2022 included 769 houses in 12 settlements of the district. This year, contracts were concluded with 347 owners.
Let us add that one of the additional gasification operators of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug is systematically a defendant in the claims of the NOVATEK structure. The reason for numerous claims from the energy supplier is the Yamal company’s failure to fulfill financial obligations and the rapid accumulation of debts for gas supplies.
