This was reported to journalists by the press secretary of the Yaroslavl Regional Court Olga Kozlova.
For Alexander Bortnikov’s accomplices – Artem Lebedev and Yegor Tarasov, the state prosecutor requested 17 years and 16 years and 6 months in prison, respectively. The verdict in the criminal case on the illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs on an especially large scale (part 5 of article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and on the acquisition and storage of precursors of narcotic drugs (part 2 of article 228.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) will be delivered on January 11.
All defendants pleaded guilty. According to investigators, they organized an underground drug laboratory in the Gavrilov-Yamsky district in September 2021. In it, young people produced more than 15 kg of narcotic substances for subsequent resale. The laboratory operated until January 2022, during the arrest more than 112 kg of drug precursors were seized. All defendants are in custody.
Alexander Bortnikov is the son of a former deputy of the municipality (city duma) of Yaroslavl Igor Bortnikov.
