zasekin.ru, 01/26/2022, “Forced to build a house”: in Samara, they begin to judge the ex-head of the Russian Post’s regulatory department: Subordinates complained about the main Samara postman. According to them, Igrushkin practically took them into slavery and forced them not to work at the post office, but to build a house for him in the village of Malaya Tsarevshchina.
– We worked on the construction of Igrushkin’s personal house, like galley slaves. We were transported to work on the construction of Igrushkin’s personal house on a UAZ bus from an enterprise in which there was nothing to breathe. At the construction site, we did not always have the opportunity to have lunch and even more so to wash ourselves. Therefore, we were driving from the construction site dirty, hungry, in a stuffy UAZ through city traffic jams. They got home late in the evenings, not paying due attention to their loved ones, and in the morning they were forced to return again and again to the construction site to Igrushkin, not knowing when it would end, – Igrushkin’s subordinates pointed out in their complaints to the security forces. People said they were afraid of losing their jobs.
– To all the objections, Igrushkin said: “If you want to work for me, do it.” We were all afraid of being fired and endured for a long time,” Dmitry M. said. Employees of the Russian Post sent collective letters of complaint to the general director of Russian Post, the prosecutor general, FSB officers and representatives of the All-Russian Popular Front. — Inset K.ru
The cases were initiated in 2018. The materials went to court in 2020, but returned to the prosecutor’s office to eliminate the shortcomings. The case went back to court only at the beginning of 2022.
Last week, a representative of the prosecutor’s office in court asked for three years in a colony-settlement as a punishment for Istushki. The defense side asked for a court fine and announced the possibility of reclassifying the article of the charge from 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Abuse of power”) to Art. 201 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Abuse of authority”).
According to the prosecutor’s office of the Samara region, the issue of appealing the court decision will be considered after studying the reasoned verdict.
We also recall that Irushkin appeared in another criminal case – about extortion from employees for patronage. The verdict on it was heard by the head of the personnel administration department of the department for personnel management, organizational development and internal communications of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise of the Samara Region – a branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Post of Russia” Lyudmila Zinova and the head of the department for compensation, benefits and organizational development of the Federal Border Service of the Samara Region – a branch of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Mail of Russia” Olga Kazantseva.
In 2016-2018 they collected money from postal employees, promising patronage in the service. The total amount of illegally obtained money exceeded 2 million rubles. At the same time, the women stated that the relevant instructions were given by the ex-head of the branch, Artur Irushkin. However, Igrushkin himself denied that he gave orders to collect money and avoided criminal liability in this case.
oboz.info, 09/13/2022, “In Samara, the ex-head of the Russian Post received a suspended sentence for abuse”: During interrogations, the postman himself explained that the house was built by his wife for her asthmatic parents, who “need fresh air,” and the construction itself was carried out with funds from the sale of the apartment and the family’s savings. Later, the plot with the house became a criminal case on abuse of power (Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Igrushkin comes from the closed city of Arzamas-16 (now the city of Sarov) and still has official registration there. The Russian Federal Nuclear Center, the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics, is located in Sarov, which laid the foundation for the implementation of the USSR’s large-scale program for the development of nuclear weapons. His wife’s father, according to Igrushkin, “worked as deputy head of the National Research Institute of Nuclear Physics, created the country’s nuclear shield.” However, the communications did not help the postal worker – the case of the scandalous construction still went to court, and as many as three times. — Inset K.ru
