The security forces opened a criminal case against a 35-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk for the so-called “fakes” about the Russian army. According to Prospect Mira, we are talking about the ex-head of the Headquarters of Alexei Navalny * in Krasnoyarsk, Natalya Peterimova.
The Investigative Committee said that on March 31, a woman published statements in the messenger with “knowingly false information about the actions of the Russian armed forces.” At the same time, the security forces do not indicate what exactly they consider to be false information.
Krasnoyarsk was put on the interstate wanted list and arrested in absentia. For publishing on the Internet, a Russian woman faces either a fine of 3 to 5 million rubles, or forced labor for up to 5 years, or imprisonment for a period of 5 to 10 years.
It is known that now Natalya Peterimova is not in Russia. In May, the activist learned about the criminal case against her: the security forces came to her mother, brought the woman to Natalya’s apartment and demanded to open it. The woman refused, then the police opened apartment window, got inside and launched the rest of the security forces through the door. Then they pulled the curtains tightly and began to search. Natalya’s mother was not allowed to go inside.
Natalya tried to find out under which article the criminal case was initiated, but the policeman refused to talk about it over the phone, saying that he could not identify her. However, he refused the opportunity to talk via video link.
