House of 2000 sq. m, a fur coat storage and a machine gun Maxim Putin’s godfather, a deputy of the Rada of Ukraine, who escaped from house arrest
Journalists of the Ukrainian edition of Slidstvo.Info came to visit to the oligarch and politician Viktor Medvedchuk – the leader of the pro-Russian forces and the godfather of Putin.
IA “Interfax”, 27.02.2022, “Viktor Medvedchuk escaped from house arrest”: Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Medvedchuk (Opposition Platform – For Life faction) escaped from house arrest, reported on social media Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko.
“I checked. I confirm,” Gerashchenko wrote on his Telegram channel on Sunday.
Earlier, the Ukrainian media reported on the flight of the politician, citing an anonymous source in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
In October 2021, Medvedchuk was placed under house arrest as a suspect in a treason case. He is also accused of being involved in the illegal supply of coal from part of the territory of Donbass that is not controlled by Ukraine. The former president of the country is also involved in this case. Petro Poroshenko.
Prior to that, Medvedchuk was charged with treason, attempted plunder of national resources in Crimea, disclosure of state secrets to Russian special services and subversive activities against Ukraine.
Medvedchuk is also under sanctions from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. — Inset K.ru
But while it is impossible to look at Medvedchuk himself, let’s look at his palace! The area of the building is over 2000 sq. meters. Unfortunately, the estate itself is now empty: probably, Putin’s godfather was engaged in its reconstruction.
“Ukrainska Pravda”, 03/12/2022, “Gilding, $345 plates, fur coats: journalists showed Medvedchuk’s palace from the inside”: Medvedchuk reconstructed and rebuilt his palace, so inside now there are bare walls and wooden beams, a plaster ornament of the future ceiling is laid out on the floor. The estate has more than 2 thousand sq.m. there should be more than a hundred separate rooms: halls, kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms and a large pool, the walls of which are already decorated with marble tiles.
In addition, there are several more houses on the territory of the Medvedchuk estate – a Japanese-style house by the lake, and another one that looks like a hunting house on the other. — Inset K.ru
Huge paintings are stored in the back room:
Portrait of Oksana Marchenko, wife of Medvedchuk

Phone with a list of the palace premises. As you can see, the Medvedchuks have their own barbershop and shooting gallery in the palace, while Dasha, Putin’s goddaughter, has a separate living room:
Of course, Medvedchuk could not do without a fur coat store!
Under each fur hat of his wife there is a mannequin:
There was a large set of Hermès plates in the hallway.
One such plate with a leopard costs 345 euros – 44 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate.
Where there are fur coats, there are Louis Vuitton suitcases. Without this kit, as you know, they are not allowed into Courchevel. Model Alzer 80 on the official website of LV costs $13,500or 1555200 rubles.
Next to the crystal gilded chandelier, a Maxim machine gun was hidden, which in 2004 gave Medvedchuk a security team and drivers for his 50th birthday.
In 2004, Medvedchuk, by the way, served as head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, who was then Kuchma.
Due to the fact that the palace is being renovated, there were not so many luxury items in it. But under the camouflage net, the most curious object of the estate was hidden – Medvedchuk’s personal railway station and a personal Pullman car.
The station is called “Far”. It has all the attributes of a real station: clocks, lights, a platform and even a Pullman-type car. Unless there are no paths themselves, only decorative rails. So Medvedchuk escaped from arrest, obviously not by the railroad.
This, of course, is not a real Pullman, but its Ukrainian copy. It is unlikely that it is intended for full-fledged operation, rather it is just a decoration.
Apparently, Medvedchuk used the car as a restaurant and a banquet hall. Slidstvo.Info journalists found out that the “golden wagon” was Oksana Marchenko’s gift to her husband for her last birthday (August 7, 2021).
Inside everything is in gold and scarlet velvet:
The carriage has a main salon for about 40 people, as well as a kitchen, a VIP compartment and a toilet.
The glasses in which dear guests of Medvedchuk are served tea in the dining car are conveniently placed in silver coasters with a gilded coat of arms of Russia. These are produced and sold by the Kubachi Combine in Dagestan. One cup holder costs 17,375 rubles. The product description says that “such a gift will definitely be appreciated by a person holding a high position in the service of the state.”
And on the bar counter there was a table lamp called “Napoleon III” from the French factory Bronze D’Art Français. The lamp stands on a marble column and is trimmed with pure gold. Today such can be bought for 340,000 rubles.
Nearby is a coffee machine from the luxury Italian brand Elektra. She, of course, is also gilded. The authors of the investigation note that the basic model of this type of coffee machine costs from 220,000 hryvnia (from 840,000 rubles). But this particular model was probably made by order of the Medvedchuks: it is decorated with a bas-relief and other decorative elements. Which means it can cost a lot more.

The titan in the corner is made in the form of a gilded samovar.

Of course, the toilet could not do without gilding. The only pity is that there is no “pedal – hole in the floor” system for greater realism.
In the kitchen there are cutlery sets from the French brand Cristofle. Only a chest for storing silver forks, spoons and knives costs 53.5 thousand rubles, and each fork or spoon costs from 11.5 to 34.5 thousand rubles.
There were quite a lot of boxes with silver cutlery of this brand in the car:
By the way, Zelensky recently signed a law on the forced seizure and nationalization of Russian assets in Ukraine. And right now, the Verkhovna Rada is developing a law that will allow nationalizing the property and money of Russian and Ukrainian individuals who cooperate with them.
Perhaps the palace of Putin’s godfather, along with a luxurious pullman, will also be confiscated in favor of the state, and they will make Museum of Corruption or a children’s camp, as happened once with Mezhyhirya (aka “Megazhiryo”) Yanukovych.
