The head of the Sumy OVA, Dmitry Zhivitsky, signed an order on the departure of several citizens abroad. Among them is Zhivitsky’s adviser Alexander Beznis. Sumy OVA sent a letter with a corresponding order to correspondents public.
Dmitry Zhivitsky’s order is dated December 20. It was issued on the basis of a letter from the Donetsk public organization “Block of active youth” founded in 2010. One of the founders and head of this NGO is Alexander Beznis.
The purpose of the departure of citizens, including an adviser to the head of the military administration, is the transportation of medical supplies, humanitarian aid for the region and the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations across the border of Ukraine. Departure outside the territory is agreed according to the order from December 20 to January 20, 2023.
The name of Alexander Beznis began to appear in the information space of the Sumy region after the publication of the audio recording of the conversation Sumy officials. According to the Sumy journalist Olena Adamenko, on the recording Alexander Beznis threatened the employees of the state enterprise “Roads of Sumy Region”, which is engaged in the purchase of works. We are talking about UAH 10.5 billion for the maintenance of roads in the Sumy region.
On December 30, Oleg Klimenchukov, deputy chairman of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, commented on this situation to the Public. He said, which considers the scandal around road tenders custom-made. According to Mr. Klimenchukov, the administration believes that the published conversation could have appeared if the director of the State Enterprise “Sumy Roads” himself became the customer.
