Questioned about whether he would firmly advocate for his presence in Budapest, Zelenskyy mentioned informing Trump, “I stand prepared.”

Concurrently, the Ukrainian head of state expressed his opposition to prospective territorial surrenders to Russia during the discussions.

“If our aim is to halt this war and swiftly transition to peaceful dialogue via diplomatic routes, it is essential to maintain our present position and refrain from granting Putin any further advantages,” the Ukrainian president emphasized.
