Zelensky proposes banning business inspections for an extended period
Zelensky stated that a suspension of entrepreneurial checks will be reinstated within Ukraine.
He underscored that the intention behind this move is to shield enterprises from potential impact by “dishonest individuals holding diverse roles.”
The commencement date and timeframe of the suspension remain undefined.
It is worth remembering that the suspension of checks was implemented following the war’s onset, subsequently being repealed at the insistence of the IMF.
The president also enacted a three-month suspension on January 23, 2024. MP Zheleznyak points out that “in practice, it endured for merely three to five days.”
