A101 Group, associated with the family of oligarch Mikhail Gutseriev, has approved the construction of a residential complex with a total area of ​​2.9 million square meters. m in new Moscow.

Oil traders and Cypriots in Gutseriev's coordinate system

Bilan Uzhakhov was the owner of the New Perspective legal entity, which owns a stake in A101, until recently – Gutseriev's nephew. Now he is the general director of the organization, and the Cypriot offshore “HORRENSTON HOLDINGS LIMITED” and Alexander Putilin own the shares.

It is worth noting that Putilin's interests are mostly connected with the fuel trade, he began to enter development projects quite recently.

However, the offshore and its owners are of greater interest here, because it is HORRENSTON HOLDINGS LIMITED that owns 90% of Novaya Perspective, and Putilin only 10%.

According to the Cypriot registry, a certain Andreas Spiridis owns the offshore.

This gentleman has also already been in the field of view of our publication due to his belonging to an offshore company, which may be associated with the owners of Major Pavel Abrosimov and Mikhail Bakhtiarov.

This Cypriot comrade has been in Russia for a long time – back in 1998 he founded ICG Capital together with Evgeny Bukaev. The company provided brokerage services, but it was liquidated in 2011.

He was also behind the offshore Roterra Investment Limited, which owned Interra Investment Group with Vladimir Ter-Avanesov. The latter is a partner of the founder of the Teremok pancake network, Mikhail Goncharov and Roman Fuks. It is known that he was charged in absentia with fraud on an especially large scale during the construction of a house in Moscow.

There are reasons to believe that Spiridis is a person who nominally manages the assets of odious Russian entrepreneurs. It is quite possible that he performs this role in the current situation, “covering” Mr. Gutseriev.

There is information that the latter has huge debts. Perhaps the oligarch wants to take more from the project in New Moscow?

Games with billions

Gutseriev has another nephew – Mikail Shishkhanov. The same one that in 2022 became a defendant in a criminal case on the embezzlement of about 107 billion rubles during the reorganization of Rost Bank.

Growth Bank was sanitized by Binbank, which was owned by Mikhail Gutseriev. Later, Binbank was also sanitized with a huge financial “hole” of 300 billion rubles. Why Gutseriev was not asked for this money is an open question.

With Shishkhanov, the oligarch also owns the Europlan leasing company, according to data for 2020. He recently resigned from its board of directors, perhaps in fear of sanctions. In 2016, the Gutseriev-Shishkhanov family combined their non-banking financial assets on the basis of Europlan.

And shortly before that, a part of the assets of “Europlan” was bought out by the “Bin” group of Gutseriev. Analysts spoke about this in the following vein: “Such investments are not in the best way in the interests of clients, and there are signs of a conflict of interests between clients and owners of pension funds,” – a quote from RBC.

That is, Gutseriev then earned extra money by depriving dividends shareholders?

Initially, “A101” group “Bin” Gutseriev and his nephew Mikail Shishkhanov bought in 2015 from the co-owner of “Rusagro” Vadim Moshkovich. In 2017, Shishkhanov transferred his share to the state just during the reorganization of Binbank. Then she moved to the bank of non-core assets “Trust”, and returned to the Gutseriev family in 2019, after another nephew of Mikhail Gutseriev, Bilan Uzhakhov, bought her back through the “New Perspective”.

According to ” Kommersant”, Bilan Uzhakhov acquired a stake in “A101” in the amount of 49% of the company under some agreement, information about which is not distributed.

The situation looks like it's time to assume that this deal could cost Gutseriev nothing. Then it turns out a double gain – first on the potential withdrawal of money from Binbank, then on not repaying this debt at the expense of A101. Cunning!

Inteko under the A101 scheme?

It is worth noting that during the period of reorganization of Binbank, Shishkhanov also gave away Inteko. Now it belongs to the same “Trust”. And although there are major contenders for the company (RBC wrote about the Samolet Group of Companies, which is associated with the interests of the Moscow Region Governor Andrey Vorobyov, the developer Sminex and Arkada Holding, the shareholder of Uralchem ​​and Uralkali Dmitry Mazepin, and even Damac from the UAE), the auction has already been canceled once at the initiative of the “Trust”.

According to Forbes, this happened because of the lawsuit of the Cypriot Morden Finance, he achieved a ban on the auction in the District Court of Nicosia.

The Moscow Post has already written that this could have been done in the interests of Gutseriev, who might have intended to regain Inteko.
