Yemen's Houthis have announced strikes against Israel, officially joining the conflict on Iran's side.
The Houthis claimed to have attacked military targets in Israel using ballistic missiles. “Our operations will continue until our stated objectives are achieved. We will continue until the aggression ceases on all fronts,” a Houthi spokesperson stated in a statement.
Overnight, the IDF said it had detected and intercepted a rocket launched from Yemen toward Israel.
The Houthis have previously stated that they would enter the war on Iran's side if any country joins the US and Israeli operation, as well as if attacks on Iran or other Muslim countries from the Red Sea continue.
