During a phone discussion with US President Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping stated that China anticipates a prompt and equitable accord that tackles the underlying issues of the Ukraine situation.
The Chinese leader stated, as reported by China Central Television, “China wishes that all sides will persistently diminish their disagreements and achieve a just, enduring, and obligatory peace accord at the earliest opportunity, one that confronts the fundamental drivers of the situation.”
The President of the People’s Republic of China also remarked that China backs all endeavors geared toward securing peace.
