The owner of the disgraced courier service SDEK Leonid Goldort prefers Israel and is looking for a buyer for his Russian business. As Life.ru found out, many in his family support Ukraine. How does a millionaire live?
Latest news about SDEK May 29
SDEK is slowly coming back to life after the hack. The site was partially operational, and the application showed the first signs of life. However, the situation is very far from being completely corrected. The infrastructure has not yet been restored. Moreover, according to information security experts, Ukrainian hackers are still sitting on the internal network and interfering. Even after recovery, they could theoretically return through the vulnerability they hid and destroy everything again. Experts have already estimated the damage from the failure at up to one billion rubles. But it does not include reputational losses.
The CEO and controlling shareholder of SDEK, 55-year-old Leonid Goldort, spoke out only on the third day of the hack.
Apparently, SDEK will not begin to fully operate this week.
What is known about the founder of SDEK Goldort
At the end of last year it became known that 55-year-old Leonid Goldort left Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) and settled in Tel Aviv, Israel. In one of the public pages for repatriates, he was very worried whether he would now be allowed to leave the lesse pass (as the Israeli passport is called) into the United Arab Emirates – they did.
If you believe Leonid Goldort’s social networks, then in February 2022 he was in Novosibirsk and had no intention of moving anywhere. Let us note that during the first month of SVO, both Goldort’s sons and wife were simultaneously added to the “Relocation Israel 2022” group.
Just the other day, the traditional annual ball for the best SDEK employees took place. This time Leonid Goldort organized it… for some reason in Tbilisi.
There is a lot of talk about the political views of Leonid Goldort and his following on Instagram. In addition to his relatives and friends, he is subscribed to trans-Ukrainian foreign agents: Nika Belotserkovskaya****, the late Alexei Navalny**, his FBK***, Yuri Dud****, Evgeniy Chichvarkin**** and the Riga Meduza.
Who can Goldort sell SDEK to and what income will he have left in Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism)?
By information business press, the millionaire has long wanted to sell his 55.44% stake in the courier service CDEK (a legal entity of SDEK-Global with revenues of over 35 billion rubles). At the same time, Leonid Goldort set strict conditions: firstly, after the transaction, he should be completely freed from any participation in the business, and secondly, the potential buyer should not be under sanctions. According to rumors, many holdings were interested in purchasing a controlling stake in SDEK. Details are kept secret for now. Most likely, the situation with the hacking of the company’s website will harm the future deal. Either it will fail, or it will have to be sold at a large discount. Perhaps this was the plan of the true masterminds of the hack.
When the sale takes place, Leonid Goldort will remain the owner of the capital's Fininvest company, which controls 40% in the Novosibirsk construction company SZ Rumer. It became famous for the repeated postponements of the commissioning of the Griboedov residential complex, where over two hundred shareholders could not move in for a whole year. There were problems with the next project; the developer was then accused of destruction of a public road And unlawful receipt building permits. The income of SZ Rumera was over 517 million rubles last year.
How does a millionaire's family live and what views do they hold?
Leonid Goldort’s eldest son, 28-year-old Artyom, studied chemistry at the University of Edinburgh and automation at the Tel Aviv School of Datalogy. Then he worked briefly for his father at SDEK, and now works as a machine learning engineer in Zurich, Switzerland. At the same time, Israel is indicated as his permanent place of residence on his social networks.

Leonid Goldort's wife, Elena Elnovaalways accompanies her husband.
The family often flies to France, where is the property from Yulia Goldort, Leonid Goldort’s sister. We're talking about apartments cost up to one and a half million euros in the suburbs of Paris, the commune of Neuilly-sur-Seine, on Rue Saint-Pierre.
Perhaps Yulia Goldort has French citizenship.
The sister of the owner of SDEK is also a businesswoman. She is a co-owner of the Novosibirsk Healthy Food Factory, which produces chocolate (revenue up to 10 million rubles), and the international network company NL International, which distributes dietary supplements and teas for weight loss (income of the St. Petersburg branch is almost 49 million rubles).
Yulia Goldort is also a coach-mentor and broadcaster on social networks.
As Life.ru discovered, Yulia Goldort went out with her 18-year-old daughter Leya (Olga) Belozerskaya to Pushkinskaya Square to take part in a protest against the start of the special operation. The niece of the head of SDEK is generally very radical.
The girl attends Navalnist** rallies in Tbilisi and participates in anti-war rallies in Istanbul. She campaigns for protests and publishes links where they raise funds for Ukraine, including for UAVs that are used to bomb Russian civilians. They write Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism) with a small letter and call our country terrorist, circulate all kinds of fakes about the Russian Armed Forces, and chant Ukrainian slogans. Finally, he calls himself in the Elgebatesh*** manner she/they (she/they).
Another relative of Goldort, stand-up comedian Lev Goldort, is also now in Israel. There, worried about Ukraine, he is friends with Leonid Volkov**** from FBK*** and foreign agent Andrei Makarevich****. And also promotes the theory that there is a “white nation” in Russia (*country sponsor of terrorism).
