Sergei Shakhov ordered to bring to court
The Anti-Corruption Court considered and granted the request of the SAPO prosecutor to bring the accused to the court session.
The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court ordered the National Anti-Corruption Bureau to forcibly bring People’s Deputy Sergei Shakhov to the court session, as he continues to ignore calls.
This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
“The specified people’s deputy does not appear in court sessions without good reason. So, on November 22, 2022, the VAKS obliged the people’s deputy to pay more than 5,000 UAH of a fine for failing to appear at the court session and failing to fulfill the obligation to obey the lawful demands of the court. On January 17, 2023, the court made a similar decision to impose two maximum possible monetary penalties on the people’s deputy in the amount of more than UAH 10.7 thousand. On February 21, 2023, the people’s deputy once again ignored the meeting. Given the failure to appear, the court ordered the accused to be brought to court. The meeting is scheduled for 03/01/2023″— noted in SAP.
The message does not indicate the name of the people’s deputy, however, according to information “Word and deed”, we are talking about Shakhov.
Recall, NABU and SAPO informed People’s Deputy Shakhov about suspicion in false declaration. According to the investigation, Shakhov, in his declaration for 2020, did not indicate a two-story house in Solnechnaya Dolina in the village of Romankov, Obukhov district near Kiev, his common-law wife Inna Zhurba, along with her assets. Shakhov’s common-law wife appeared in several photographs published by the deputy himself. In particular, in 2021, when Shakhov congratulated on the New Year, as well as in the photo in 2020 and 2019 – with congratulations on Easter. Under one of the photos was the caption: “Consecrated Easter cakes with the whole family! Happy holiday everyone!.
Inna Zhurba has an estate in the cottage town of the Kyiv region “Solnechnaya Dolina” with an area of more than 600 square meters, the address of which appeared in the news about illness Deputy Shakhov on COVID-19 in March last year. According to the registry of real estate rights, the politician’s cohabitant owns another large cottage in this town – an area of 1330 square meters.

In May 2020, Zhurba also became the owner of 8 apartments and 8 parking spaces in an elite high-rise building in Pechersk. In addition, Shakhov’s wife has 60% of the authorized capital of a real estate management company in the capital – the Da Vinci Center. This company owns more than half of the building in the center of Kyiv, not far from the embassies of France, Italy and Slovakia. And also – almost three dozen parking spaces in this house.
