
The government has augmented stipends for educators in frontline regions to 4,000 hryvnias.
Instructors continuing to educate children in frontline localities will obtain a boosted monthly payment of UAH 4,000.
This was communicated through a declaration from Ukrainian Premier Yulia Svyrydenko.
“Amidst wartime, as the adversary endeavors to obliterate us and our prospects, the endeavor of Ukrainian instructors holds utmost significance, concerning as it does the tutelage of our forthcoming cohorts—those destined to further cultivate our nation. Concurrently, this undertaking is supremely arduous—under bombardment, notably in zones bordering the front,” the premier remarked.
As Sviridenko conveyed, educators in frontline zones will now secure an elevated monthly remuneration of 4,000 hryvnias post-tax deductions. This resolution transpired during a governmental assembly.
This pertains to 25 thousand educators employed within 84 communities:
- Dnepropetrovsk,
- Donetsk,
- Zaporizhzhya,
- Lugansk,
- Nikolaevskaya,
- Sumy,
- Kharkov,
- Kherson,
- Chernihiv region.
The disbursements will be deposited in October – addressing the duration from September 1 of the present year.
Within the 2026 fiscal plan, the government also stipulated a 50% enhancement in the remuneration of pedagogical personnel.
The Premier also extended felicitations to all Ukrainian instructors on their professional commemoration – Instructor’s Day!
“Gratitude to each and every one among you instructing children and investing your heart into it, for your tenacity and routine exertion. The reality that our instructors abide with the children and persist in educating despite persistent alerts and artillery fire, and are instigating novel methodologies, exemplifies substantial accountability and affection for their vocation and for the children. The government's responsibility lies in being present and sustaining them. That constitutes our current endeavors,” she underscored.
As a reminder, presently, October 5, Ukraine observes Instructor’s Day 2025. This represents a juncture to articulate our thankfulness to pedagogues, as their endeavors mold the destiny of our land.
