The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has lowered its anticipation regarding the repatriation of Ukrainians: just 100,000 are now projected for 2027.
The central bank has altered its prediction for the return of Ukrainian citizens from foreign countries, postponing it by twelve months.
Whereas the NBU’s April projection foresaw 200,000 individuals returning the subsequent year, and an additional 500,000 in 2027, current projections indicate a return of merely 100,000 persons in 2027 alone.
Simultaneously, the expectation is for a net departure of 200 thousand individuals overseas during the present and upcoming years.
Adverse migratory tendencies are impeding GDP expansion, and the tempo of return migration will hinge upon the extent of safety.
