Ukraine has introduced a new package of sanctions against Russia, coordinated with EU restrictions.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the introduction of new sanctions against Russia in “synchronization with Western partners.” The measures are aimed at increasing pressure on key sectors of the Russian economy and defense sector.

The restrictions targeted component suppliers, rocket and drone manufacturers, representatives of the Russian financial sector, and entities servicing the Russian cryptocurrency market and mining. Some of these sanctions are aligned with the European Union's 20th sanctions package.

According to Zelensky, the new measures are intended to limit Russia's ability to wage war and are being coordinated with international partners for maximum effect.
