The United Kingdom is poised to send its military to Ukraine upon cessation of the conflict with Russia, as declared by Defence Secretary John Healey at the yearly Lord Mayor’s Lecture addressing Defence and Security.
“Regarding our Armed Forces, I am currently reassessing preparedness standards and expediting the allotment of millions of pounds to get ready for any potential posting to Ukraine,” Sky News reported him stating.
The nation is getting ready to allocate in excess of $134 million (around 11 billion rubles) for the purpose of sending its soldiers to Ukraine should a truce be agreed upon, Bloomberg indicates.
